I don't really agree. The attraction is looking good to begin with, and people still respond positively overall.

Wonder what they'll be doing. I don't think it needs a major overhaul since it still does well with crowds and receives mostly postive responses. The animals could use some work though mainly the elephants and some in the Africa scene.

That's gonna happen in Florida. I'm not saying the rides perfect, but it doesn't need a ton of work.
I hope not. The less we get of the terrible DL version the better.

Comparing it, personally, to Disneyland... I think there are some updates they could make that would be cool. Pirhannas, explosions.
Hasn't Martin and Lee both lamented the JC full overhaul that's gotten pushed off for years now? If so, this would be another suspension of that, essentially. That's where that comment mostly came from.

c'mon, it's a nice effect (until you see the little metal guys poking out of the water). But even then, it looks like someone had an extra $1000 bucks in the JC budget and got a decent effect for a good value with it.

Really? Six weeks is a significant refurb period. This is more than spit-shine. And don't agree that it needs deep work its in pretty good shape as it is.

Ummm.....no. It is not looking good at all. The refurb is badly needed for many reasons, some visible some not so visible. I drive boats around that river 5 days a week so I think I know what I am speaking of.

The time frame should be enough to get some decent work done on the show scenes if they choose. The figures are really the biggest part of it. With this attraction aging on everything else just adds to the show rather than detract from it.

I hope this includes work on the boats. I always seem to get in one that has a faulty speaker that keeps cutting out during the cruise.
