Seriously?
You wouldn't last an hour in my area or state for that matter.
Also good luck telling me I can't stand on the out of the water part of the boat.
And like another member stated, what about when a guest rides Kali River Rapids at DAK and gets completely soaked, entitled?
Staying at at premium resort does have perks. You think of one stayed at All Star Resort, one could get the same compensation package. Think not. They will definitely be proactive. I had an incident 2 years ago with a bed bug on my last night at jambo house. At 5am they opened the akl gift shop and my group of four were given new clothes, a free ride to the airport, one night of our stay comped and a free 3 day stay at any villa on property. I never asked for any of it. It was offered right away.
That's correct. Don't assume because it just happens to be Disney.I really think it depends. My issue is that it should never be expected.
I didn’t say that it’s happened a lot. But it’s happened a few times over the years. No reason to link it to current operations or lowered standards when it’ a single occurrence that has happened before.
You know what I meant by the quote. It’s a single occurrence under current and recent operational standards. That is like a Yogi Berra quote.
It has never happened like this before. Leaking and completely sinking are different.

Fat eastern tourists. In all seriousness, there have been instances turning corners on Jungle Cruise where the boat has dipped and its felt like its going to take on water. Does anyone know definitively how this happened?

And it HAS happened EXACTLY like this before.
I don’t think you even understand what my argument is.Then the standards of safety and fixing things that continually happen have in fact fallen. How many times should a boat sink and compromise safety before it is a problem? You can state that it may have happened before, but even previous leaks are never this extreme. Your argument is completely flawed. Safety would not be an important standard if a boat is doing the one thing by design it should not do.
Would you really just sit there for safety as opposed to stand on a dry piece of the boat? It's dangerous to stand on the side of a boat with an entire front to back roof rack?
Submersion

First of all I never said that standards have not fallen. They have. My point was that an isolated incident like this is not necessarily connected to those lowered standards. Especially when this has happened before back when standards were higher.
Boats sinking is not something that is continually happening. A few times over nearly 50 years is not continually happening.
There were previous incidents that very much were this extreme. This is not the first time a jungle boat has sunk like that. I don’t know why you keep stating that it hasn’t happened like this before and that previous incidents were just leaks. You are wrong. There have been previous incidents just like this where boats have sunk. Exactly like this. Different cause, same result. Cell phones and social media just weren't around to make you instantly aware.
Just because safety is important doesn’t mean things don’t happen.
