Just for the record.... We are wanting to place Moana in MK for adventure land yes? Isn't that profiling?

wouldn't DHS also work? Isn't that the movie park?

Adventureland is the perfect place for her because it already has a Hawaiian section. But heck Hollywood, Animal and the Polynesian would all be better than Epcot as well.

Imagine they tore down the right side of Main Street....and replaced it with a Zootopia Interactive Water play area, and 20 acres of lawn and trees.....
Then told you it was because everyone wanted more landscaped park spaces in the Magic Kingdom....
And it was no longer Main Street but now called "Shoppingtime Celebration Neighborhood"... and the Right side was now part of "Event Lawntopia Celebration Neighborhood"....

Again, this is not the same thing. Everyone has a mental image of what an area called "Main Street, U.S.A." should look like because it pulls from American history and our lived experiences. It's a street lined with charming shops and attractions.

There is no such equivalent for a "future world hub" because it's not trying to reproduce something. It's meant to be evocative of a time that doesn't exist yet. Symmetry and asymmetry would both be valid design options. The complication here is that Future World was originally designed with symmetry in mind, so the team redesigning the space has their work cut out for them if they want to convince people that the change in direction was worthwhile. Obviously, many will never be convinced, but I'm willing to at least give the space a chance in person even if I don't agree with demolishing perfectly good buildings on principle.

Not even a remotely appropriate comparison.

Obviously 3 middling things is greater than a useless building. Plus… asymmetry!

It wasn't completely useless. It blocked any breezes so in the summer the plaza was a heat trap. The FoN adding just the right amount of humidity to create an outdoor sauna type atmosphere.

Shaded paths with cooling water features seems like a good upgrade.

Why do you talk rubbish again?

You do know there was an anemometer in the plaza to control the fountain height due to the breezes in the plaza?

Guess you had to be there to know.

It still was a humidifier. Umbrellas and massive canopies couldn't solve it. Club Cool helped.

IMO.

It’s amazing to read the nonsense you create. Truly amazing. None of what you said is true.

No, it wasn’t.

In anyone’s opinion who actually knew.

But as always change your narrative to try and fix the holes in your story.

Must have been a hot and humid day when I walked through around the millennium celebration. Funny, it was never really noticeable before most of the original landscaping was removed. Just my recollection and observations.

Wouldn't be surprised if DAK's Oasis wasn't a reaction to the removal of all the original Communicore Plaza green spaces. IMO.
