Why would you think this is even in the realm of possibility if guests haven't done that to the dozens of other fountains at WDW?I wonder how long it will take some enterprising miscreants to figure out that if they add soap to the rushing water you get an instant foam party?
True! But now that the idea has been posted? Some daring sole may just get a wild hair up their ..... and try it. It would probably stir up a whole new thread. Why would you think this is even in the realm of possibility if guests haven't done that to the dozens of other fountains at WDW?
I would think they'd want to improve traffic flow as quickly as possible. In other words, open Connections as soon as it's ready in order to close off the former backstage area beside Cosmic Rewind as they push to finish it. I would hope Journey of Water and Dreamer's Point would be next on the docket to pull together ASAP so that they can restore flow from Discovery to Nature, leaving just the festival quarter to wrap up as they push farther into 2023. At least the park will be acceptably navigable by that point.I would be very surprised if this opens in 2022. I'd like to see some of the World Celebration offerings open by then, but it really seems like Spring 2023 for an unveiling of everything.

I heard that Logan Paul is going to box Journey of Water.I heard it will be a TikTok challenge in 2023 - "Who can make the biggest soapy, foaming mess at Journey of Water?!?!"![]()
I heard that Logan Paul is going to box Journey of Water.
A company that cared about traffic flow even a little bit would never have shut down a third of the park in the first place. It wouldn’t surprise me if things open up in late 22. It also wouldn’t surprise me if nothing changes into 24. We’ll see.I would think they'd want to improve traffic flow as quickly as possible. Even if they don't care about the guest satisfaction factor, I would think they want people out of the backstage area to the left of Cosmic Rewind. I feel like they've delayed repainting that side of the building for exactly that reason.A company that cared about traffic flow even a little bit would never have shut down a third of the park in the first place. I would be surprised if it wasnt open for Epcots 40th.I would be very surprised if this opens in 2022. I'd like to see some of the World Celebration offerings open by then, but it really seems like Spring 2023 for an unveiling of everything.
Over / Under of October 1, 2022. I'd take the over.I would be surprised if it wasnt open for Epcots 40th.
The over wiht Disney is always a safe bet.Over / Under of October 1, 2022. I'd take the over.

But in reality 10 more months for a stright civil site project, is easy to get done, if they want to.
I find that a very generous interpretation of how things have been moving forward at Epcot. They took their sweet time getting Creations (a store) open and ever since they have seemed in no hurry to get Connections (a quick service restaurant) open. In those cases, we're talking about two things that generate revenue and, combined, would do a lot to minimise the whole centre of the park appearing as a giant construction zone. I don't see many signs that they're suddenly interested in pushing down walls at Epcot as soon as possible and Moana being sped up.I dunno, I know Disney likes to drag their feet with construction, but it seems like there has been a shift at Disney to put a focus on EPCOT. Tron was set to be finished before Guardians, but they've flipped that so Tron is most likely opening in 2023 now. Since they're going ahead full steam at Guardians, as well as working on Connections Café and Moana, I'd imagine they're trying to push to get as many walls down in EPCOT as possible. I'll take the 2023 Tron if it means more movement on EPCOT's front end.
