Journey into your Imagination rehab?

But with the new track system they wouldn't need all that track space anyway. Since the ride comes to complete stops the ride is just as long. If you notices the old ride was longer and so were the scenes. Now they dont need that because you can stop at each act. If the next version is just as good as the old one the lines are going to be outrageous do to the new track system.
The current ride is nothing near the length of the original in time or length. Or excitement or things to see.

The current system also uses less ride vehicles than the original. All in all it is less than everything.

Surprisingly, my family kinda liked Imagination during our last trip. My 4 year old daughter especially liked the whole thing, the ride, the catchy tune, the post-ride activities, and the gift shop. We went twice, and ended up buying a Figment, and she sang the song for hours. We also spent far more time with the fountains than you think you could.

Now, it's still disappointing. What really does imagination have to do with the 5 senses? And an upside down room with furniture on the ceiling isn't really up to Disney standards. However, the song, Figment, etc . . . are actually pretty cool, especially for younger guests.

I never saw the original, but it seems to be held as unanimously better than what we have now. Hopefully something good will eventually be done to make it all even better. Just don't completely hate what's there; some people find it okay, and some younger people really like it. Perhaps they should kind of market it as something for young kids.

If there were to be another rehab it wouldn't use the old track area. They would stay with the current configuration and keep the downstairs Imageworks. The "Build Your Own Figment" game that it currently in the Imageworks area may be a hint at things to come. :animwink:

First of all I dont see how anyone could draw any sort of conclusion of what the future holds from a stripped down and simple mini-game.

Secondly, if that game is any sort of hint of things to come then they might as well shutter the pavilion because it is going to be even less imaginative than it is now.

Not to throw oil on the flames, but can someone explain Dreamfinder to me? I never saw the original attraction, only the new one. And I haven't even seen that one in a while. I know about Figment and all, but what was the original in all its nostalgic glory like? And if it was so wonderful why did Disney get rid of it?

Separated at birth?
.......Just sayin'

It all makes sense to me now. When they found out Dreamfinders brother had history of having a restraining order from elementary schools and Chuckie Cheeses they couldn't risk having him at Epcot around all those kids.

I hope the 2 original hosts are reunited. I have a strange feeling that Siemens will take over. They seem to go wonders for their attractions.
