If they do refurbish Journey into your Imagination on a low budget they will probably just replace Eric Idle with Zach Galifianakis as Dreamfinder.

First of all I dont see how anyone could draw any sort of conclusion of what the future holds from a stripped down and simple mini-game.

Secondly, if that game is any sort of hint of things to come then they might as well shutter the pavilion because it is going to be even less imaginative than it is now.

If you spend enough time here on the forums, you'll know that you can trust raven. He, Lee, and a few others are extremely reliable sources and have proven themselves time and again.

I have spent enough time to formulate an opinion of who I believe are reliable sources. I agree that Lee is a very reliable source, and there are a handful of others who are reliable as well. However, without bashing anyone, there are sources that many members on this forum believe to be credible, but I dont necessarily agree with the majority of our forum members all of the time.

Although it is possible that I am not very good at decoding cryptic messages, and lack imagination (not sarcasm). With that being said, I am going to close this statement with a question. Have you played the new Figment mini-game in Imageworks? If so, what hints would you draw from the experience?

I created my own figment. It was a nice little feature. Epcot is much different then it was in the 80's and 90's. Some people are grieving over the changes but its better then todays Epcot then no Epcot. The world today is different and because of that Epcot is different. I think the Disney company is trying to make Future World more of a place where we create the future and expand our minds unlike viewing someone else's futuristic creations. I think they have a long way to go but it seems to me thats the direction they are taking. I think with the world changing and the poor economy they are kind of stuck with todays Epcot and they don't know what to do when it comes to making attractions and what the guests want. So instead of taking a big risk and making these huge attractions like they used to they are kind of scaling down and sampling new things.

I hope the 2 original hosts are reunited. I have a strange feeling that Siemens will take over. They seem to go wonders for their attractions.

Doubtful that Siemens would take anything else on. They already have their hands in Spaceship Earth and Illuminations at the park...doesn't really seem that they need to advertise anymore than they already do.

For those "in the know", is there any chance the original track configuration (or something similar) returns, even without the problematic rotating platform in the middle?

If there were to be another rehab it wouldn't use the old track area. They would stay with the current configuration and keep the downstairs Imageworks. The "Build Your Own Figment" game that it currently in the Imageworks area may be a hint at things to come. :animwink:

ugh x2

1) Why cant image works go back upstairs? more ride space = more possibilities
2) I dont like the idea of multiple figments. There is only ONE figment.

As raven said the track will stay the way it is. The bright side is most of the old track was for the rotating stages, the loading and unloading docks and the finale. The track for the cave beginning they once had and the screen ending has been cut out. The new loading dock is using the space the rotating stages once used and unloading is located at a new track space in between the ending and the loading dock. With the smaller docks and no need for the rotating stages they could fit 80% of the original ride on the track they have today.
