Allegedly, Depp has agreed for Pirates 4 and 5. Whether they do a 5, who knows.


And they have already started pre-production work on HSM 4... to prolong our misery...

my understanding of the rumors i have heard about pirates 4 is that it will be maily about jack sparrow searching for the fountain of youth with barbosa following his trail. i dont remember where i heard this information before or if i came up with it on my own after seeing the end of the 3rd movie, haha.

Well, I don't think you're making it up because I've heard similar rumours for a while now. I can deal with Barbosa just fine though.

Rumors abound, have heard of the Fountain of Youth (alluded to at the end of "POC-3) and also heard of a search for Atlantis (though that was also rumored for the next National Treasure movie. Either way, I'm in.

I am looking forward to both of Depp's new movies. I am most excited about POTC4 because his Captain Jack is perfect, but I can't wait to see what he does in Alice in Wonderland.

I really don't care too much if Keira and Orlando are in it. I guess that I hope they are not because their story is pretty much over. I do have to say that I would be pretty disappointed if Barbossa was not in it. I think he is so fun to watch along with Captain Jack.

Both Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have said they're done with pirates several times so I really doubt they'd be involved.

I agree that they stretched the last trilogy a little thin towards the end, but if they can come up with good stories, there can be tons of Pirate movies featuring Jack Sparrow. Even Barbossa as well.
