Jim is a member here and lurks regularly. I respect hime because of his knowledge of WDW even though he may not have the best writing style.

Personally, considering I had heard of stuff supporting the Night Kingdom concept prior to Jim mentioning it, I know he was right.
Very true.

Its funny how people say when Jim is right "oh he just got lucky..." and when something turns out to be false its "see, he's just an idiot...". I like to read JHM and just like ANYTHING I read on the internet, I take it with a grain of salt. Just because something doesnt happen, doesnt mean it wasnt being talked about.

The thing is...Jim Hill usually is a moron.

That doesn't really refute anything the other poster said; do you have anything to substantiate your claim?

Jim may have a style of writing that some people dislike, but then again, if people really had that issue, they'd never read forums, period. Since they're here, it suggests to me that they just like to find reasons to complain about Jim.

As for the substantive content of his site: he has a highly trafficked site for a reason--I won't speculate as to why, but the site's traffic alone says something to me.

But, you're all entitled to dislike who you please--I dislike John Tesh--but it seems some of you have dislike that isn't grounded in reason. If it is, there's always one option--don't read what he writes.

I don't know who may be more reliable, Jim Hill or Screamscape.
But on Screamscape yesterday they reported that they have heard a rumor that site clearing for Night Kingdom may have already started somewhere near Animal Kingdom recently. But they don't provide any pics of the possible site clearing or give any details where exactly it might be. They also said that plans for the AC to somehow be a part of Night Kingdom are still on the table. Maybe Night Kingdom isn't as dead as Jim Hill says.

It's far from dead as is moving the AC to NK. Of course all the chicken littles and petition pushers will no doubt claim credit.

I certainly would. There several unannounced projects I'm currently working on that Screamscape has very accurate information on.

The only "downside" of Screamscape is that Lance posts EVERYTHING that comes his way. You really have to read through it, but he had information on Seaworlds' Manta (A B&M Flying coaster) back in 2005.

Very true. You should never take that site as the gospel truth, but it gets dismissed too easily as well.

So, is he wrong here to?

If he's wrong here than everyone who is so excited is excited over nothing. If he's right here, than he was right before and all the people who said that he was full of it are wrong.

Personally, considering I had heard of stuff supporting the Night Kingdom concept prior to Jim mentioning it, I know he was right. He's probably right here, too.

So, guess what.

He's not a moron.

Sorry guys...The original post *was* ment in Jest,I honestly didn't mean to stir things up...I just don't like how he is always pulling the "Doom And Gloom Bit"

I'll go edit that now.

(And if he does post here he should post more often....It would be interesting to talk to him.)
