Trip Report JenniferS is live - 9/3 - 9/16

Technically this is a pre-trip report, but we’ll be going live in less than a week!

This will be my third live September trip report.

It’s going to be a lot of same old/same old, as the cast, location, and ADR’s are pretty much the same. What can I say - we like what we like. And what we like is each other, Walt Disney World, Coronado Springs, and Free Disney Dining.

First, the who.
Me, JenniferS - Uber planning, pixie dust snorting Disney-aholic, 51 year old kid at heart (despite what the mirror says).

This is Hubby. He likes the Tar Heels, the Blue Jays, food, beer, and me. Not necessarily in that order.
The words most often heard coming out of his mouth are “Whatever you want, Baby.”

This is us. We are adorable together. We’re each other’s ride or die.

Last year, we were celebrating my 50th birthday (as much as women celebrate these “milestones”).

This year, we are celebrating Mike’s 50th (both of us born in August, so it’s close enough to count) AND our 25th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

We have children, but we don’t bring them to Disney very often anymore. If they decide to get married and start giving us grand-babies, I will re-visit this decision. But for now, they stay home. We are on Jen and Mike time.

After two live trip reports, I’m not sure how wordy this report will be, but it will be heavy on pics, most especially of food! As Mike says - I’m only here for the food.

To be continued ....

Just coming out of lurkdom to say how much I enjoyed your TR - I've been on these boards a while, but somehow missed your past reports. Looks like I have some reading to do. Love your personality and writing style. So glad your surgery went well.

Many people with hip pain facing surgery would have whined and felt sorry for themselves and complained about everything (read enough of those TRs too! lol), but you seem to be the polar opposite... just going with the flow and letting minor things roll right off. Just able to enjoy the moment. Really admire that.

They have indeed wrapped it up, although I’ve not heard that the paddle boat is back yet.

Are you there yet? 9/5 plus 3 weeks = TODAY!
I am indeed. Been here 2 nights, 10 to go.
I generally come earlier in September and thought perhaps late September/early October would give me some cooler temperatures.
WRONG!!!!
BLAZING HOT & HUMID HERE !!!!
But it's all good.
I'm still at Disney World, my favorite place on the Planet!

Just wondering how you are feeling? Healing ok?
Thank you. It’s a “process”.

I see the surgeon again on Wednesday and will have a better idea of where we stand at that time.

Thank you. Sometimes I feel like I’m being a total whiner, so I’m glad to hear that it doesn’t come across that way. 🙂

In all fairness, we go to Disney for 10-11 days almost every year, so we can afford to just go with the flow. This was not a once in a lifetime trip.

I had 8 hours of sleep last night for the first time in months. I legit feel like a new person today. Thank you, Lord.

1 and 2 are tied. They are both Signature Dining, and they both impress year after year.
