I thought I had heard that it is used for storage...kinda like the big honkin' building behind Germany...shame ain't it?

Like others have said storage, but it also houses the offices and work area for maintenance

I believe the show building in question was originally intended for Meet the World, which would have been quite the contrast to The American Adventure next door.
It was never built, unlike Japan who got a complete show building.
Germany had the load/unload area built but the show building area was left reserved building space. What was built was later converted to offices and more kitchen space.
