That makes a lot of sense. Do you think this would require more CM's or just improved management?
Stuff like this always requires BOTH

Is "slow to adapt" some sort of code for "slow to open the purse strings and spend some of that additional revenue"?
That's what I thought too. It seems to me that Disney is trying anything they can to reduce the number of CM's. On slower days they operate the rides at a lower capacity, so that the lines remain long regardless of crowd level. There are fewer CM's at the QS venues. It is harder to find a clean table. Then there are the bathrooms and trash cans.Stuff like this always requires BOTH

So MDE has allowed Disney to right size their staff and it becomes harder for the limited CM's to keep up with the crowds. I understand the reasons for the staff cuts, it saves a lot of money. But it also diminishes the whole WDW experience. It's sad.
I couldn't agree more, but evidently the current management disagrees.A staff is not 'rightsized' if the customer experience is degraded compared to years past, A Disney park is supposed to be a premium experience not a visit to a county ag fair.
Seems CMs are all too happy with this.
