To celebrate spring I spent Saturday shopping for summer clothes. So far that sounds normal enough but whenever a sales person asked what I wanted or was looking for I started talking about my upcoming trip and how I was going to need clothes for the world. Not just that I was going but what clothes I wanted to wear for each park! Do any of you just go over the top when planning or talking about planning a Disney trip?

I have to admit I bought specific clothing items just for my cruise. But my real problem is over packing! I just bring too many clothes! Now I find myself summer shopping and saying "oh that would be great and look good in vacation pics too!" You can't risk looking bad in a picture at Disney ;)

OMG! Last trip I had my clothes all piled up ready to be packed and camera bag ready over a week ahead of time. I counted down the days every day, perhaps to the annoyance of others... Printed out a calendar, figured out which days were for which park (or resort)... Made a check-list of things I wanted to do (mostly try the 19 beers at Epcot) and shoot (that I missed last time). I checked the weather daily.

Nope, nothing wrong here. Move along folks, move along. :D

Oh yes, we have daily talks about it on the way into work. My hubby and I that is. Always thinking and planning, even if its months away. What we need, what we may need to get, things we have. I always fear I wear the exact same outfits every time I am there so I make it an effort not to. Though it always happens...but yes, every morning, even if its the same convos from the day before...I always think we go overboard...

Ember, I agree the hat was a must. Your LO looks so cute in it too! If you ever need justification for purcahases look here...I can rationalize anything for style:) BTW dors your Son call Target, Tarjay yet? My girls do, it cracks me up! My sons like Target because they can always talk me into popcorn...
Thank you! I had to buy it. And lol on the Tarjay he doesn't say it yet, but the other day I took him to my mom's and I said "Eli where are we really excited to go?" I thought he would say Disney World, but instead he said "Target!"

I
I like @figmentfan423 have been planning this trip down to the last detail. I started by rebooking our Vila two weeks after returning from our last trip. Would have been sooner but the owners were away!! I have everything down on our itinerary, including where we're going, where we are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, all my reservations have been done or ages and I have even booked my outside reservations this year as well so not to be disappointed. And my darling DH has found me the official disney font!!! so now everything i have written is now in disney font. I have even made up daily envelopes for money, parking charges, petrol so on an so forth. I spent the weekend washing and ironing all our holiday clothes and they have now been put away ready to go in the suitcases, and this weekend I'm going to put all our toiletries away as well. I'm being super organised :):):);)

 I would be too tired to go.....:D

We start in collecting our Disney outfits in April. I have lost count of how many times I've heard while shopping "oh that will look cute at Disney"! One thing we always get is Nike flip flops for the trip! We try to get them good and broke in so no blisters or sore feet! Then as we get closer we schedule the hair and nail appointments! And then we cram all the stuff we possible can in our suitcases! FYI I always over pack!

I have it down to pat now, we take 3 pairs of shorts each and mix and match tops to go with them, a pair of evening trousers and a couple of tops to go with them and a dress. DH takes shorts and shirts, an the kids the same as us. I have a washer/dryer in the villa, I don't mind running a couple of loads through. Then I vac-pack everything so we have lots of space to bring lots of goodies home. :):):)

We're 25 days from our next trip & I have been hitting the stores for new tank tops, sundresses & flip flops. I'm trying to hold off, but soon I'll be planning my outfits too. We've also hit up the local Disney Store to find as many Disney T-Shirts for our 3 year old as possible! He's going to be one festive kid! Now, to fit it all in a couple of suitcases...hmmmmmm

I have been buying stuff for a few months now and my trip is in September. Lol. My non- Disney loving hubby (NDLH??? Lol) was talking to his boss today who just got back. They stayed off property and my DH told him I had our tripped planned out each day and he said I sound like Clark Griswald. Lol I'm thinking ok maybe.

YES!!! All I can think about is what I need to buy for Disney. My obsession right now are bags. The perfect sling, carry on etc... I have two boys one who has type 1 Diabetes so that takes a lot of planning for all his meds... hence the perfect bag. Trying to hold off for clothes.(hoping to loose a few pounds) My favorite part is trial packing! :D

Not as much for me but for my girls... (not anymore they are to old :( ) I would spend months buying matching boutique outfits off ebay... they had something that went with whatever park, or character we saw for that day... It was a lot of fun.
As far as myself... I will always pick up something special for one of our dinners... My DH and I always try to have a date night... :)
Me too. I always have to buy clothes for my boys! Target- here I come!;) I but maybe 1 or 2 new outfits though for myself.;)

Sadly, I have reached the time of life when gravity has taken its toll and my wardrobe choices are those which can keep me from getting arrested for indecent exposure on my vacation.
No way...... you're such a cutie patoootie! Gravity wouldn't dare come any where near you, especially when you are hugging that Pooh Bear! You wear what ever you want!
