Honeymoon was great! Nice and relaxing. Morning sickness went away for most of the trip, I think the fresh air helped. But I've been feeling a bit queasy again since the day before we left. :brick: And I'm at 14 weeks, it's supposed to be gone by now.OMG too cute. How was the honeymoon? Have you found out what you are havin yet? How is the morning sickness.
Hi everyone!
Talk to you later, Dottie :kiss:OMG!

You have a thing for sombreros or Chihuahuas? :lookaroun...I know what you're thinking, Dot, and no, that's not actually my dog. :lookaroun
No. We kept picking things up and saying we should buy it, but most were either very "boy" or very "girl", so we didn't.
BUT, we did eat dinner at a restaurant called Chocolate City one night and I did buy a T-shirt for me that says "The baby wants chocolate" because I say that to DH all the time.

It was good. Very nice day.

No gender yet. Well, it has one I'm sure, but we don't know it yet. End of next month. Although, we may find out earlier and for sure because my doctor wants me to have an amnio. Bun, did you have one of those?
I had 3 of them. One for each girl. Not bad scary for the first time but then I knew what to expect.Still downloading/resizing them. The ones from Xel Ha will be awhile because we used a disposable waterproof camera there.

hee. My shirt would have been "Baby wants Cheese steak subs!"
Have you guys registered yet?
Have you gotten the book Baby Bargains yet?? Get it before you register, and for the love of pete DON'T get a stroller until after the baby is born. You won't know what's important to you in a stroller until after you've been lugging a baby around for a while.
Nope, haven't registered yet. Probably in the next month. I think we'll do it at Babies R Us. That's where SIL registered and it was pretty good.
Because when they did my 12-week ultrasound they did the triple screen test (which I thought they didn't do until 15 weeks because of inaccuracies) and my numbers were a little wonky. I'm going to my monthly appointment tomorrow so I'll get more info. She actually called while we were at Xel Ha so I didn't get the full gist of my results just that she wanted to schedule the amnio to rule anything out.Nope, I didn't. Why does the doc want you to have one? Is it because of those issues you were having earlier? they're not so bad from what I hear. Nothing big in the scope of pregnancy ickyness.
Well that makes me feel better.I had 3 of them. One for each girl. Not bad scary for the first time but then I knew what to expect.

I just worry about it because of the miscarriage risk it has.
The doc told me there was a risk but not much of one. Just make sure you can rest that day for the rest of the day. That is what he told me.Well that makes me feel better.
I agreeEVERYTHING has a miscarriage risk. It's just something to live with unfortunatly... And that triple screen. Feh. Those things are awful So many wrong readings from them. You'll be fine.
Well that makes me feel better.
Glad u had a good time Steph. Talk to you all later have to go to Wal-Mart :hurl: Bye for now:wave:
 Have fun! We went to a Wal-Mart in Mexico, btw. Omg, what a nightmare! :lol:Glad u had a good time Steph. Talk to you all later have to go to Wal-Mart :hurl: Bye for now:wave:
That's what I've heard about the triple screen. I do see the pros to the amnio to rule things out...and you know difinitively the gender since they see the chromosomes.EVERYTHING has a miscarriage risk. Woot! Day off. Well when I picked up our vacation mail yesterday, there was a thing from my doc and they've already scheduled me for one at the end of the month. It's at 7am so I guess I won't go into work that day?:sohappy:The doc told me there was a risk but not much of one. Just make sure you can rest that day for the rest of the day. That is what he told me.
Omg, no kidding! Yikes! I agree about the anticipation. And I also realize that there are risks with so many things in this process. I just like to avoid unnecessary ones if at all possibleI think with anything like this, it's the anticipation that will get you. I can't tell you how nervous and anxious we were when we had to go get our Level 3 ultrasound when they thought they saw a cyst on her brain. Scared us to death.
Bye
