This is what I have planned for her. July 8, Saturday morning I made breakfast reservations in the Wilderness Lodge where we are staying for 8:30am. Then I have swedish massages for both at 10:00am in the same lodge. At 4:00pm reservations at Cinderellas for an early dinner in the castle, and for the grand finally at 9:00pm I'll escort her to the dock at the lodge for a boat ride on the seven seas lagoon where there will be a bottle of wine and cheeses waiting, then we will watch the fireworks from the boat (thank you to the forum for the idea):king:

Can anyone help me fill in the gap between the massage (10a) and dinner (4p) other than the typical parks, something special that she has never seen or heard of

July 8 is my birthday too!

I don't know... I think you have things pretty well planned already. I think if it were me, I would probably want to go to the parks and just have fun.

That being said, it is also a lot of fun to take a walk from Wilderness Lodge to FW and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods. The petting zoo is nice, and you don't even have to have children around you to enjoy it. Then you can hop a boat to the Contemporary, go play in the arcade and take the monorail to the Poly for a Pina Colada! Walk down to the boat dock and take a boat to the Grand Floridian. Enjoy the beach for a bit and then hop on the monorail to the MK.

Hey, it sounds like fun to me, at least! :) You're a great hubby to take your wife to WDW for her birthday!

Not sure how adventurous you are, but since you're staying at the WL, you could take her parasailing out on the lake! Or, rent the water mice.

Or, like someone recommended, go hang out at the Poly or GF. Have a leisurely lunch and take a romantic stroll along the beach.

Living Seas Snorkeling

Something fun... no experience necessary

I'd suggest taking her to Epcot and sign up (IN advance) for the Living Seas "Scuba Assist" snorkeling tour. You get to go in wet suits in the Living seas (Snorkeling with Air Tanks), plus behind the scenes tour. Very Cool. No experinece necessary.... about 2 hours from what I remember. Extremely unique... kinda pricey.

Have fun.
