How about this: Each week have 2 contests. It would be the same theme for both, but one category will be unedited photos and the other will be edited photos.

Here are some ideas for contests:

costumed characters alone, no people
Meet & Greet Photography with characters
Non-character Cast Members
Villians, but don't limit it to Disney Villians
I like having Halloween & Christmas contests separate
Flags
crying children
Your family at WDW
Funny looking tourists
waiting in a cue line
great facial expressions
Windows/doors
landscaping
water parks
transportation
attraction details (ie: basket of apples in the judge's tent, model planes in the Barnstormer, Pooh & Mr. Toad in the Pooh ride)
Hidden Mickeys
Streetmosphere People

Love these ideas.

Yet you assume that everyone who voted differently than you, did not vote for whom they felt was best.

Yet you assume that's what I assume. The post was directed at a single member who stated she voted for those who would otherwise get no votes, not the thread in general.

I respect the rights of others to have different opinions than myself. But I don't have to agree with them :)

I love the crying children idea

Please tell me you only aim for that in these contests and not during elections that actually matter? Given the current status of the US that was a result of actions like that in 2000, your post has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your original post hinted that you feel people threw away votes in the 2000 presidential election. And because of that the USA is in the state it is in (whatever that may mean). Why would you assume people threw away votes? Why can't it be that it was just a very close election. And just to keep the assumptions going, I assume you weren't thrilled with the result of the 2000 election and aren't thrilled with the current status of the country either. I'm not trying to get into a political debate here on one side or the other. I'm just curious as to why you would say votes were thrown away in 2000.

I'm disgusted at anyone who wastes their vote, anywhere, and about anything. Anyone else that comes forward, I'll be disgusted as well. I made my opinion known on a public message board, and OMG... I'm being chastised for it. Oh no!

Want to talk more about the contests, I'll chat away.

Want to talk about my politics, I'm on AIM or check out my facebook posts. The only further statement I'll make on this is that I am actively seeking a Canadian work permit.
