Pre-Trip It's been a while......

Before starting the next PTR I think I have to apologize to you all....... It's been a while...... busy, more busy and even more busy. We postponed our October 2017 trip to October 2018. So now it is time for a new PTR for that trip.... First more about the who, how and where.

We are totally Disney addicts for years. Until 2014 WDW was way out of our league. But 2014 was the first trip and we came back in 2015 and 2016. The plans for October 2017 had to be postponed so now we are going from october 18th until October 27th... Who are the we?

On the left our daugther Sacha, me in the middle and my wife Ria on the right!

We are flying out of Amsterdam on October 18th on 08.35 in the morning:

We fly from Amsterdam to Atlanta and will arrive on USA soil on 12.15 local time. We will continue the trip around 13.55 from Atlanta to Orlando:

And then finally landing in Orlando around 15.39 and the getting on board of the Magical Express to our resort:

Port of Orleans French Quarter for a garden view room.

So far we only reserve breakfast for a couple of days in the best place to have breakfast in whole WDW:

And then it is time for:

Off course much more plans to make, but have to wait a little longer for that!

Almost time for FP!! August 19 will be the date to choose! Hopefully Avatar will works out... but as I read here quite often it will be hard to really get FP for Avatar! We'll see!

If you don't mind me asking, which part of the Netherlands are you from? You don't have to answer if you'd rather not. I'm in the Achterhoek. I can't understand a word my neighbor says...he grew up here and doesn't speak "Dutch"...just plat. Even my native Dutch husband has a hard time understanding the guy, but I just have to smile and nod, because I don't get it at ALL.

Hi all,

time to share our plans for next October!

We fly in on October 18th. We leave Amsterdam around 08:35 local time and arrive at Orlando Airport around 15:28.

As mentioned before we stay in Port of Orleans French Quarter. So Disney's Magical Express will take us from airport to resort.

Last weekend we choose out FP's so here is the plan:

October 18th:

No FP, no Parks, probably after checking in and settling down a boattrip to Disney Springs

October 19th:

Magic Kingdom

09:50 Breakfast in BOG

11:20 Splash Mountain

13:00 Space Mountain

17:05 Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

October 20th:

Epcot

11:35 Test Track

12:35 Spaceship Earth

No more FP's.... go with the flow!

October 21st:

09:30 Breakfast at BOG

Animal Kingdom

13:50 Avatar Flight of Passage

15:10 Dinosaur

16:45 Expedition Everest

I love that you have so many BOG breakfasts! Last week we enjoyed our first breakfast so much I had to book another day (thankfully there were only 2 of us so we found another reservation easily!) The mini blueberry muffin on the pastry tray was the best thing ever!!!!

Congrats to the both of you on your 8-year anniversary! Those were beautiful pictures of the two of you--I particularly liked the one in front of the Eiffel Tower--amazing!! Your wife's dress was stunning, and I liked the blue color of your tie--nice contrast to the grey vest and hat you wore.
