So it's up to Warner Brothers? Not Tolkien's descendants? That I was unaware of

The Tolkein Estate company, the name escapes me, whom negotiated the rights for the films there was wording that allowed for such circumstances. do take place if deemed appropriate.

Jurassic Park Expansion including 2 new attractions
Kidszone overlay to Dreamworks properties
T2 or Twister Replacement
FFL Replacement
New show in toon theater
Shrek Replacement
Waterpark
Numerous facility upgrades

LOTR is possible, not probable, but possible.

I'm all for JP, Dreamworks, Twister, FFL, Toon Theater, Shrek, and waterpark, but would miss T2:3D.

Any chance that they move Shrek 3D to the Dreamworks Kidzone section? It wouldn't bother me either way - we already have the film on DVD at home, and wouldn't rush back to go see it again necessarily, but it would be a cheap way of "adding" an attraction to USF, (ie, remove Shrek (-1), replace Shrek (+1), add back Shrek (+1), as they already have the film, all it would take is to build a new theater.

And TL Theater is going to get a new show? Wasn't the rumour that it would be removed and that is where LOTR goes? (although I guess they could put on a show until LOTR is started, if it ever is)

My ideas:

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FLORIDA:

- Ted's Comedy Club: Possibly a comedy show like the Laugh Floor based off of Ted using an animatronic and real actor interacting with each other. Maybe Ted gets sued and he needs to make money in this comedy club or something. There could be some funny lines without needing to use adult humor and you would know if you watched Family Guy or Ted cause not EVERYTHING is adult humor. (Universal made the film Ted and it's becoming a series with a sequel in 2014)

- Spongebob Kidzone: I don't know who posted the idea but the Kidzone should be re-imagined into Bikini Bottom. Add a speedway-like Mrs. Puff's boating school, a dark ride replacing E.T. (sadly), Krusty Krab restaurant, meet and greets in his house, Jelly Fish Fields playground, and a water coaster using this technology

- Horrorville: Land in current Fear Factor Live space where all the horror movies come to life. The horror make up show is moved here, so is the Monsters Café, and a new omnimover is added which will have all monsters come to life in one ride.

- Fast and The Furious Stunt Show: Replacing Twister and it would be similar by having the car effects with fire, wind, gun shots, water, explosions, etc.

- The Universal Pictures Preview Center: Replacing The Lucy tribute and Betty Boop store would be looking at the releases of that year and how the films were made and props and similar to The Art of Disney Animation

Puts guests into the Hollywood area with Universal Pictures Preview Center and the Ted Show. Adds a marketable, successful, and seemingly timeless (10+ years on air) franchise with Spongebob. Finishes making the park contemporary by removing Twister to become a Fast and Furious Show. Makes home to classic horror characters also making a great place to visit during Halloween Horror nights.
I like everything you posted except the Ted show. If you had to tone it down a lot, it wouldn't be like Ted. I also was the person who had that kid zone thread! I feel so honored!

I mean there were some hilarious moments in Ted that didn't necessarily need any reference to sex or drugs or alcohol and that is good enough for the parks. If not then we can have the attraction have a warning that this isn't for little kids.

You could definantly do that.

Tourists don't heed warnings. Ever.

Poseidon's Fury: Same name and facade, different story. This would be a EMV like Indiana Jones and the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland but themed to a boat. Pre-show you upset Poseidon, get on your boat and ride his wrath. Not much to say but there will be Krakkens and whirlpools and Atlantis and sirens songs and stuff. It would be an e-ticket to put guests in Lost Continent.

Awesome. In my mind, I see this as an indoor dark ride version of Popeye/Kali, or hybrid system that's a better version of Atlantis, but with more emphasis on show (like Indy/Pirates) and less on just getting guests drenched.

I'd wager Shrek first, then Twister. T2 has too much investment coming. FFL does seem a wasted facility for the majority of the year. Toon Theatre is just wasted.

Anytime your investing in 4K screens and equipment it's almost guaranteed that the sound system will get an overhaul.

I hope so. If I had to pick anything to go from Universal, I would pick Fear Factor Live, then Shrek. I might be one of the only few who actually enjoys Twister...

And they need to really do something with KidZone.
