He didn't return them back into the proper safety recipticals at the end of the show! GET HIM! AHAHAH!
Just read my sig!

And yes, the wooden fence should be better than having a CM standing at the foot of the lift hill. It just reminded me of Six Flags.

I think the fence needs to be done to look all torn up or something, as in having a bayou look or something. Not look all pristine and new. It is out of place because of that.

I got to ride on the new buses last week. All of the seats are sideways (you face the sides of the bus instead of the front). The seats are paded, and the bus did seem to be wider, allowing more people to be packed in. :) Also, there were strap loops attached to the silver handrails which are good for those shorter people. The driver has a mounted microphone instead of using the hand held one.

Great Update! Its been a while since the last and I'm glad to see you back :).

Its unfortunate for Splash and Disney that they actually have to have warnings that say you must stay seated if you choose to ride. Stupid guests end up ruining things for all. Don't like the big wall, but I guess if it stops someone from trying to get out, getting hurt and then tying Disney's legal department up with lawsuits its necessary. Hopefully its just a temporary solution until sometime later. It looks out of place from the photo. I guess the next step would be to somehow install either lap bars or probably seatbelts inside the logs.

Isn't there a part of Splash where you can kinda see backstage toward the parade step off point? I think I remember seeing that during the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Maybe this is the part of the ride where it happens and the wall is to help hide it? I dunno.

Either way, great update! Thanks!

I'm almost positive that wall is to keep people from getting out. The wall has been there for about 2 months now, and before it was there, a CM was always standing at the foot of that lift hill. Just another safety procaution.

TTATraveler-the back rows of the seats are the only ones that face forward. My friend made sure to point that out to me when I said all the seats were sideways lol.

I'm going to post some pictures in my album soon. One of them is me standing in front of the LMA sign (so you can get a taste of how big the sign really is). I may include a picture of Tifani hard at work at the Emporium lol.

Well, I don't know if the fence is better than a CM, they could have had a 'themed fence.'
I hope the Home Depot / B&Q themed fence is only temporary whilst they sort out something a little better. :D
