Here's my proposed attractions to Adventureland!

-Fire Mountain
-Ancient Temple (New Name!)
-POTC
-Tiki Room
-Adventure Isle
-Pirates Beach (to Adventure Isle) Right in the heart of Adventure Isle, near Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, Pirates' Beach is an outdoor play area where your children can play at being pirates and imitate Captain Hook. (From Disneyland Paris)
-Lilo's Luau & Fun Aloha! Lilo and her pal Stitch from the Disney film Lilo & Stitch have invited the Disney characters and the Guests to a cheerful luau at the Polynesian Terrace Restaurant. Dressed in Hawaiian shirts and muumuus, Mickey, Minnie and the other characters go from table to table to greet all the Guests, and Lilo teaches all the kids a cute Hula dance. For a fun and energetic lunchtime, don’t miss Lilo’s Luau & Fun! (From Tokyo Disneyland)
-Lost in Paradise Oh no! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto are lost! Their ship sank in the beautiful Caribbean Sea and they're stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere! Come into this 3D show in Caribbean Plaza and see what happens on this crazy, zany island! (Original Idea)

NO STUNT SHOW! Yes, it can be good, but it's much better fit for a Studios park. And don't worry about attractions! We're Imagineers!

Can't see where you want to go with the 3d show... can you explain some more?

And about the Pirates show. I can in no way see how it would fit in Studios, and the reason why I think it should be in MK is because it's mostly about pirate humor, pays tribute to POTC and generally I think MK needs more live shows...

Well, they have to set up a camp, and Mickey's in charge. But you know Donald, trying to be the leader. Minnie and Daisy just sit back and relax and just let the boys do their jobs. Goofy make, well... goofy structures and just acts himself. Pluto is Mickey's helper... hard to explain...

Don't think this has enough content to make a 3D show...

Ok, here is the second draft for the attraction list, now also including shops and dining. Yell if there's anything you disapprove of or want to add. From now on we will decide things by vote.

Mysterious Jungle

Attractions:

  • Fire Mountain: Nothing changed here.
  • The Three Caballaros and the Lost Temple: Name is due to change, but anyways, I thought this could be an excellent theme for the temple ride. The Three Caballaros have found this ancient and mysterious temple and now you must venture into it with them. On the way in, some difficulties are met (smaller thrills, shocks), but eventually the inner sanctum is reached and a great treasure is found. Donald's usual greed sets off the self-destruction mechanism and it's time to get out and get out fast! This will be an EMV ride.
  • Jungle Cruise: Nothing new here. I still vote for several (possibly three) different routes.
Dining (also includes smaller snack bars and stands):

  • Arizona Goof's Foods and Goods Cart: A small cart selling jungle explorer items (whip, indiana-jones type hat etc.) as well as drink and snacks.
Shops:

  • Fire Mountain Shop: Says itself
  • The Three Caballaros shop
Carribean Plaza

Attractions:

  • Pirates of the Carribean: Nothing new here
Shows:

  • Pirates!: A live action show featuring classic pirate humor and plenty of fights.
Dining:

  • Blue Bayou: You all know this one.
Shops:

  • Ivory Merchant
  • Trader's Import
  • The Merchant's Store for Fine Goods
  • El Bazaar
(all of the above shops are part of the Carribean shopping bazaar)

Castaway Bay

Attractions:

  • Adventure Island: Nothing new here. We will decide on it's final content later.
  • Enchanted Tiki Room: I think the general notion is no character overlay?
  • Tarzan's Jungle Swing: A simple swing-type ride, flowing through the air in lians (sp?)
Shows:

  • Lilo's Luau: Dinner show for Polynesian Terrace
Dining:

  • Polynesian Terrace
  • Paradise Hut
  • Liki Tiki
Shops:

  • The Treasure Chest
  • Tiki Tropics

I agree with ImaginEAR about the stunt show. MK needs some live shows, but not a stunt show. And the duck thing? What do you have with them? (some kind of major obsession. aparently) Fort Duckburg? That sounds really stupid to me (no offense...) but Frontierland is realistic, it portrays the American Frontier (and since your from Denmark, you probably don't know much about it.) Splash Mountain is the most un-realistic part of it. Tom Sawyer Island is realistic, Big Thunder Mountain is somewhat realistic... Ducks don't appeal to me for Frontierland.

Mysterious Jungle

Attractions:

  • Fire Mountain: Nothing changed here.

  • In a MSN chat, we discussed having Fire Mountain actually erupt with fake lava, but have the lava only drip over a few feet and run into a draining system of some sort. Just thought I'd bring that up!

[*]The Three Caballaros and the Lost Temple: Name is due to change, but anyways, I thought this could be an excellent theme for the temple ride. The Three Caballaros have found this ancient and mysterious temple and now you must venture into it with them. Donald's usual greed sets off the self-destruction mechanism and it's time to get out and get out fast! This will be an EMV ride.

Sounds like a fun idea, especially with the 3 Caballeros theme!

[*]Jungle Cruise: Nothing new here. I still vote for several (possibly three) different routes.

  • Arizona Goof's Foods and Goods Cart: A small cart selling jungle explorer items (whip, indiana-jones type hat etc.) as well as drink and snacks.
Shops:

  • Fire Mountain Shop: Says itself
  • The Three Caballaros shop
Carribean Plaza

Attractions:

  • Pirates of the Carribean: Nothing new here
Shows:

For Pirates of the Carribean, I suggest an extended version similar to Disneyland's (theirs is 14 minutes as opposed to 8 minutes for WDW's POTC), and adding Captain Jack Sparrow to the group of pirates!

  • Pirates!: A live action show featuring classic pirate humor and plenty of fights.
Dining:

  • Blue Bayou: You all know this one.
Shops:

  • Ivory Merchant
  • Trader's Import
  • The Merchant's Store for Fine Goods
  • El Bazaar
(all of the above shops are part of the Carribean shopping bazaar)

Castaway Bay

Attractions:

  • Adventure Island: Nothing new here. We will decide on it's final content later.

  • I suggest Swiss Family Treehouse and Captain Hook's Pirate Ship for the main attractions on Adventure Island. Maybe you could place a seafood restaurant in the bottom of the ship like Disneyland's former Pirate Ship had.

[*]Enchanted Tiki Room: I think the general notion is no character overlay?

What do you mean by no character overlay?

[*]Tarzan's Jungle Swing: A simple swing-type ride, flowing through the air in lians (sp?)

BRILLIANT idea!!!!! Wish I had thought of this myself. A perfect proposal for a Tarzan-themed ride!

  • Lilo's Luau: Dinner show for Polynesian Terrace
Dining:

Is this going to be like the Polynesian Luau, with the Lilo & Stitch characters added? Again, another bright idea!

  • Polynesian Terrace
  • Paradise Hut
  • Liki Tiki
Shops:

  • The Treasure Chest
  • Tiki Tropics

Just my 2 cents worth as far as Adventureland is concerned! LMK what you think! :animwink:

Hmm, yeah well, of course it's a stunt show of some sort, but it's focus is more on the action and humor known from classic Pirates tales... but lets vote for the Pirates show...

I know I'm for and stitchcastle is... while you and ImaginEAR is against... so that's 2-2. WHat does everyone else say?

And about the ducks, I do have some kind of major obsession, no doubt about it. It's because Carl Barks created this huge and very deep universe that has soooo many possibilities. Now don't take this the wrong way; the duck universe is actually pretty realistic. Something like Fort Duckburg will indeed look like a real american fort (http://duckman.pettho.com/characters/fortdb.html) and even the characters are what I would call duckfied versions of human beings.

But do remember that Frontierland also has Country Bears? Is that realistic? And as you mentioned yourself, Splash Mountain? But as you would probably say with Country Bears, they have the spirit of Frontierland and doesn't look too out of the main visual theme (uses the right color palette). The ducks do the same...

Actually the whole duck story is based on the classic American tale; a young scotsman come to new, undiscovered land, poor but with a good will. Travels to Klondike by doing work, discovers a gold ore and gets rich and built an enourmous empire. Then he moves to Duckburg and settles there.

The story has a lot of characters, who are very typical americans (etc.) with a duck overlay, giving them a sense of realism. Takes Cornelius Coot, founder of Fort Duckburg, for example: http://duckman.pettho.com/characters/cornel.html

MCbrizzle --> I would like your comments as well...

Kent --> So you are satisfied with the entire list? Good...

I think the problem with calling it a "stunt show" most people already connect it to a "studios" theme. You Gotta look at it in a way that it is a live show full of stunts not a show where people do stunts and explain them. So basically, It wouldn't hurt to have a Pirates of the Carribean Stnut Show, heck, there's a Peter Pan Stunt Show at the Jolly Roger in Paris.

The Duck Universe is better off somehwere else....I told you so Nex ;)

All the un-realisitc Frontierland things are better off in Critter Country if you ask me.

About the Tarzan Swing ride, If this is the kind of swing ride I know, what on earth are people going to be swinging at? Logs? I'm not sure I like this.

Am i alone in thinking that an EMV ride is too much for The Three Caballeros?

Just my two cents :D

Well perhaps (concerning the duck universe), but we'll see when we get to Frontierland etc...

The Tarzan ride is basically, well, it's a B-ticket ride or something and it's sorta like you site in a little cariage, which is attached to a chain and attached to the main spinning device. Just something for the kids...

But we really need to move forward... now we decide everything by vote!

Say if there's something that you sincerely do NOT want to see on the list and we'll vote for it...

Oh ok I got it, I thought it was like this giant log/boat that swings back and forth. I got what you mean, that's the same ride I used for my Hunny Tree Fliers ride in my Hundred Acre Wood. I like it :)

Tarzan ride sounds good, as long as its not just chains and stuff...the chains that hold the seat should look like vines and the seats should look like they are made of wood or big leaves. The actual part that supports everything, IMO, should have a base that looks like a big rainforest tree, then the part that has the chains hooked to it looks like tree branches and stuff.

This way it won't be a huge hunk of metal shining throughout adventureland

Hehe, of course Wannabe Walt ;)

Anyways, I've also thought twice about the three caballaros and it might not be such a good idea after all, but lets keep the temple...

So do we all agree on the list of attractions for AL?

Fire Mountain
Lost Temple
Jungle Cruise
POTC
Pirates show
Tarzan jungle swing
Adventure Island
Enchanted Tiki Room

And then the shops and dining places I listed.,,
