Is your daily life different with a Disney trip planned

WITHOUT A DOUBT! Seeing that Disney is our escape from the "real world", each pending trip serves as a reminder that there will soon be that "release" of the pressures of daily life. Our "next trip" always serves a the finish line that's just around the corner and motivates us to run it out and keep going. This is why we usually call and begin booking our next trip the week following our last.

That's a great idea to begin booking the next trip shortly after returning from one. In my heart, that's what I want to do. It's convincing others to book that's my issue....

We don't have a disney trip planned but we'll be going on a cruise in September. As excited as I am to go, we had a long hard winter and I don't want to wish my summer away!!! I'm hoping for long lazy summer days and when September gets here I'll be ready:). I do have some diet and fitness goals to reach towards for the summer though. Although I'd like to reach them with or without a cruise.

Aww...what a great post. You deserve a great, relaxing summer.

I'm right there with you with diet/fitness goals. I wish you the best!

Looking good! I don't mind the same-color-pants-as-the-polo, but I do think I like the red pants better. Like you, I would still purchase and wear both.

This past winter I wore a polo/sweatshirt with Mickey embroidered on the shoulder to work on a Friday (just like in the picture). Anyhow, I received so many compliments on it. As the School Resource Officer said to me: "You can't help but smile when you see a Mickey Mouse on a shirt." Seeing your enthusiasm for polo's made me think of this comment. Imagine how many smiles you get! :)

My mother thinks I'm crazy and I'm in my 40s. But, hey, these are Disney shirts I can get away with wearing at work (standard business casual: polo shirt and khakis).

Even better that it's "work approved"! That's a win-win situation. (Btw:I figured as much that it's business casual. :) They really are nice for work wear.)

Nah, nevermind mom. (LOL!!) I'm in my 30's and wear fun Disney stuff. Who cares, right? If it makes you happy, I say "go for it"! Plus, it's probably an easy choice in the morning. "Hmmm...what Mickey to wear today?"

It seems to me like work and everything else in "the real world" seems a little easier to handle and it's hard to get worried or upset when a Disney World trip is coming. Is this true for everyone or is the struggle real whether Disney is coming or not. I personally am just in a better mood with my trip only 62 days away. What's your thoughts.

Knowing I've booked a vacation - to Disney or elsewhere - always makes me feel like I have something great to look forward to.

I definitely agree on how life seems happier when that Disney trip is planned. The sad part is after you leave, you miss Disney so much. What I do to help keep spirits up until next trip is listen to Disney podcasts and Disney related radio stations online.
