Yeah. Take a peek and judge for yourself how much you want to position yourself...Thanks for your helpful post! Re: fireworks, is it still a good idea to try to be facing the front of the castle in terms of symmetry?

Already covered in post 26. It was the xmas party for 2021, due to covid. Its the Disney After Dark events that have free ice cream, soda and popcorn. This event was still happening earlier this year.
If you were going to be there the last week of December, then it is worth it because it is less crowded and the last week of December during normal hours it can be insanely crowded. If you were planning on going for other reasons, such as hot coco and cookies or the Christmas parade... No... not worth it for those reasons because the cookies and coco are just not worth much, the parade is weak.I'm floating this question out there, please let's not get emotional, but try to be realistic.
Is the Christmas Party worth the approximately $200.00 per person?
At one time Disney said that they limited the number of guests at the party to make going on rides easier. The last time we went, 2023, I am convinced that they do not do this anymore, or if they do they have increased the number of guests to a point where it is crowded.
Also, you cannot use Genie Plus / Lightning Lanes (or whatever name it's called now (i'd call it the Money grab, but that's just me)) during the party.
So basically, you get a parade and a firework show for your $200.00. Let's face it, no one goes alone to the party, so at minimum, it's 2 people or $400.00
Also, during covid, they party had free ice cream sandwiches, fruit bars, soda, and popcorn. Now they have returned to hot chocolate (how much can you drink of it) and really cheap cookies.
