WDW might take inspiration from DLP's Frontierland theater.

So much cloning back and forth between DLP and WDW at the moment. As a passholder to both resorts, none of this excites me. :'(

It's time to treat Magic Kingdom as a signature attraction. Go to Disneyland, Tokyo, or even Paris and you will see how bad The Magic Kingdom is.

Magic Kingdom is in desperate need of investment. There is not been a big attraction added to the park since Splash Mountain. And of course MK is built up far better than the other parks, but it is time for Magic Kingdom to get some love -- it needs it.


Tron is a perfect addition to the park. It will help relieve the coaster waits (or at the very least allow more people to experience one in a day), be able to transform the outdated Tomorrowland into the modern look of the future it was always supposed to be, and it will allow the park to be able to compete with the superior parks worldwide. If it wasn't for Dinoland, Animal Kingdom is this close to being an all around superior park, and with crowds accounted for it is.



All 4 WDW parks are severely behind the standard and finally all 4 parks are getting what they deserve.

Magic Kingdom's weakest spot Tomorrowland getting a new much needed Coaster along with finally overhauling the speedway is not only overdue, it's criminal at this point. A new very large theater venue is what the park also severely lacks. Unannounced plans will only further benefit the park. So check.

As much as I hate EPCOT Center dying, the bottom line is with a sponsor, it makes sense to have a unique attraction, but to not have any IPs at all makes it difficult to make a connection to the average guest since Disney will almost always pay completely out of pocket. I want it to go back, but times have changed in the sense that Disney does not need, nor want sponsors anymore.
What needs to happen at EPCOT is to not shoehorn an IP into Norway, but make it cohesive. Nemo could be perfect for the Seas if the ride wasn't so bad, and if it weren't for it being outdated. Guardians is going to be an epic ride, but I am very worried that it will not fit properly. It could be tied to space, and have some connection, but it is troubling. Ratatouillle should be a thematically appropriate addition. The spline update would be hugely successful for the park. I'm not a Pixie Duster, and I see the price hikes, but things are changing, and if they are well done we should start embracing it. To me, Losing EPCOT completely has already happened, so i personally believe they should make things fit thematically like Tokyo DisneySEA does.

Hollywood Studios had a cool concept, but I'm going to assume most of yu know the history behind the park, and how the 'Hollywood of the East' failed. So it was obviously needed for them to shutter the backlog Tour as it was just a shell of its former self anyway. Today, it is a very very bad park by Disney standards, still ahead of DCA in 2010 for instance, but really almost Despicable to pay full price for. The rides the park has are still all solid, so it still has that going for it, but it has really long lines as a whole as there is not enough to do. Sure you could fill in an entire day by doing absolutely everything, but that would be impossible for Animal Kingdom with equal crowd levels etc. of course, it got its renovation recently and HWS has yet to receive t, but HWS is much older. I suppose the main problem is the changing theme as what threw it off. The Mickey ride concept seems awesome, and of course Star Wars Land is going to be out of this world, but in the meantime it's only going to be getting worse with GMR closing. Like we have some serious nostalgia with that attraction:bawling:.

Animal Kingdom's Pandora is awesome. It's not as good as Cars Land or Diagon Alley (ride is better than Gringotts), but it is so intricately crafted with an unimaginable amount of detail. It also comes with a unique ride for the park, a simulator, but not just any simulator, but the best on Earth. A bit ironic too as the land is not even on Earth :p. I really have grown to like this park. It obviously is begging for Dinoland to be redone, and perhaps a C-ticket in Africa or something, but FWIW I feel that it is the second most conplete park. Epcot is technically way more impressive scale wise, but it is sooo outdated. Still, I find myself and my family spending a ton of time in World Showcase as it is gorgeous, but the lack of a really good ride in the park, and the fact that everything else is outdated is remarkably disapointing. Spaceship Earth is definitely my favorite at the park, but it has been dumbed down to an ant's level that it is far less interesting. Test Track's new update is meh to me, sort of like Escape From Gringotts. Like I really love the vehicle for Test Track, but especially after riding Radiator Springs Racers it is unbelievable to me it averages about the same waits. Soarin' is an awesome ride, but is just a complement E-ticket (it could not anchor a park in the same way Star Tours or Toy Story Midway Mania cannot). Mission: Space has not aged well at all, but is thankfully getting an update:joyfull:.

My point is that the park's are finally turning around from an extreme low point, yet some people seem more pessimistic about the future, and seem to think it will be worse than it is today. Things are changing. Obviously they are going to make stupid mistakes, but Disney has always done that and will continue to do that due to indiscriminate bean counters who only care about the bottom line, but that is the fact about being a company.

And I actually am going to apologize for this as it is a completely unnecessary read. It's just really early here and I have nothing to do right now:D.

My guess is that it's next to/behind the Town Square Theater, and the brown thing in the background of the concept art is the Town Square Theater. It seems like a Hyperion-level theater, and I think that scale would completely overwhelm MSUSA if it were right in Town Square. Also, having possibly thousands of people exit right there into Town Square after every show would be a disaster. They probably wouldn't be eager to ditch the fancy Mickey meet and a money-making restaurant, either.

I wonder if they'll try to make the bypass even more of a street once the theater is there? It has to be almost permanently open once there's a huge theater there, right? (I think it's semi-permanent now as it is?) I could see them having the bypass closed first thing in the morning, but I'd have to imagine it will be open other than that.
