Is it worth it?!

I didn't realize until halfway through reading these posts how young you were!

You must have a great big heart.

Maybe you can talk to your family and see what they think. They may not want you to spend your money on them. Or, like you said, maybe they will chip in!

Good luck with your decision!

I agree...it's rare that you see someone so young that DOESN'T JUST THINK OF THEMSELVES! Maybe you could take them someplace else to boost the morale...someplace closer...just to spend some quality time. (trust me, if you're kinda short on moolah...WDW is not exactly the place you wanna go)

You have a lot of respect from me :)

Go for it!

If you think your family could use the vacation, go for it , but plan wisely.
Book your trip during value season, utilize the passes you have and plan out your meals.
I was able to book airfare from Laguardia to Orlando for just $141 per person. (there are 4 of us)
Got a room room at the AllStar for $59 per night.
I will pack breakfast and snack items to take with us.
Planning well has allowed us to take 3 WDW vacations in the span of 10 months.
Good Luck

DisneyKrazed, you are generous and you've got the right idea. But here's the advice I wish I had gotten when I was younger: Put it in an IRA!!! Put $2000 in a Roth IRA every year, and then keep the rest in savings for your car. Once you've earned your car, then save for Disney. At least that's the grown-up thing to do. Disney is much more fun when you can comfortably afford it.

Sorry to sound like a mom ( I'm not yet). You're awesome for saving so much already and for wanting to share it. Glad to have you as a fellow Disney fan.

Wow! Lots of nice comments, thanks. But stepharoni

, what is a IRA (don't want to sound stupid or anything). I currently have my money in a savings account. I just miss Disney so much and I wanted to help my family reduse stress (sorry don't know if its spelt right). Thanks again :sohappy:
