It's my "dark box being thrown down the stairs" theory...So I think it’s because I’ve been keeping up with this thread, but I had a dream last night that they turned off all the sound for Dinosaur. Made for an interesting ride.

Was it all sound or just the sound off in the vehicles? Because without the narration, I’m sure it’s creepier.I have been on it when it has happened. It is actually a lot creepier.
It’s already like 90% darkness. If you cover your ears, the experience of a nap would be similar but with less lower back pain.Last ride, I plugged my ears. I found it to be less scary but your mileage may vary.
You wouldn't be the first person on these boards to feel that way.I really really hope that theses rumors about dinosaur are not true and if they I will hate disney forever and ever.

Not to intentionally piggyback off your post, but now that you mention it; I guess sound would be the linchpin of this attraction.
I remember reading a post a few pages back about how the Indiana Jones score would work wonders here. (paraphrasing) If done right a backing score from start to finish could establish the mood, amp up the thrills in "dead spots", build suspense and highlight the dino-startle effects. It could really bring this attraction up a notch; I think. Not that the ride isn't already great. It's a must do for sure! I just wonder if the inclusion of MORE sound effects, and the addition of a background score would make the ride that much more epic.
I'm trying to figure out what the scale of this future plan would be, since Dinosaur isn't usually the most criticized part of that land. If they are renovating the McDonalds lounge for Club 33 now, would they then be doing major work on the same building? I mean, it would be kind of weird to launch Club 33 at Animal Kingdom and then make you go through a construction zone to get to itIsn't the club 33 rumored to go in the Dinosaur building? I wonder if these projects could be connected.

Wakanda and Black Panther belong at Animal Kingdom even less than Indiana Jones. And that’s saying a lot.IJ should be built over at Adventureland.
They should build Wakanda and have a black panther ride replace dinosaur instead.
If they can use Black Panther...
If they can use Black Panther...
Time will tell. I have never seen Black Panther at Universal other than a picture which according to the contract is incidental and therefore not counted as in use....which they can't.
