Anybody know - Is that annoying woman counting down the top 7 things to see at Disney World off of Disney Resort TV yet?

I miss the way it used to be. They would just break down each park, and all recreation things seperately.

Isn't it funny how serious we all take some things at Disney World? It's like a religious place for us or something.

Item one:
Kyrissa is hot, just shut the sound off.
Item two:
The WDW Tour doesn't have to be limited to :30 minutes. The equipment can hold 3 hours of video. Each video can be scheduled to show at different times of the day or week. So during the day you could see different programming in the morning vs the night. Anything is possible, even running the old Tip For The Day clips. Why doesn't Marketing do this? It may be habits from the laserdisc days (30 min limit) or budgets. But running old material would be cheap and cool. Sort of like TV Land's Retro Commercials even with a little "Ol stuff" bug in in lower left corner.

well when I have to work magic on demand I get really sick of watching her for 4 hours ...over and over and over. She reminds me a little of Samantha Brown but younger. I remember when she was taping it at the grand, they taped it over and over and over lol.

The countdown thing is a bit annoyin however chryssa is really really hot which makes it a lot more bearable. Oh well just got home today so no more countdown or chryssa.

I vaguely remember the Kryssa. Anyone have any pictures or screen captures of her? I'd like to job my memory. Oh, and I'd also like to see if she indeed is hot.

I would not mind seeing her or the countdown go either. The previous information videos in your room were cool because they just reminded you of everything you needed to see the next day or so. I do not care to have them counted down with a host/hostess format. I can get enough of that on VH1 or MTV.

I think she's great, and I actually enjoy the countdown show. Granted, I'm not too familiar with the older one, having only seen a copy I got off of mIRC, but I think I prefer the Top 7 version. It justs seems newer, hipper, and more fun.

And I think Kryssa is the bee's knees.

Does anyone even use that phrase anymore? :lookaroun

hell even my dad and I like the playhouse disney ..... well only the bear in the big blue house part and we are 41 and 18 respectivly.. I watch bear in the big blue house all the time and i don't have kids...well i do have a bird that is a big baby...

I definitely liked the old version better. You know, the one with that goofy guy. Chrissa kinda gets on the nerves a little bit. (The guy did too, though, but not nearly as bad). And I really hate the countdown. It goes so slowly...when I'm watching it, I'm like hurry up. Maybe that's why it's so horrible. Not Chrissa.

I hate it when I hear people talk smack on Krissa, she is such a cutie and she totaly gets you excited for the parks. I've been looking for a tap of the Top 7, but haven't found one yet.

I'm neutral, I prefer the old resort tv (i miss the tip for today), but the Top 7 is alright also, I can't say I love it, but I don't hate it.

I agree also, Chryssa was real easy on the eyes not to mention the embodiment of Disney perkiness. Besides, what other Disney promotional actually tells you about a "water wedgie" (Blizzard Beach - Summit Plummit

You know, i gotta wonder. If youre spending a zillion dollars to go to WDW, why are you actually taking time to watch Resort TV rather then off in the parks? I've NEVER understood this.

Cause the parks aren't open 24 hrs a day.

We watch it when getting ready to head out to the parks in the morning and then the tv is on at night while getting ready for bed. I didn't care for the countdown thing, so I tried to find other things to watch.

Yes, Zip-a-dee-doo-da tip of the day was great and I do miss it, but Kryssa is so easy to look at. You mean she does a countdown? :lookaroun Only kidding.

If the two can be combined, great. If not, I'm fine with Kryssa's countdown.

It's funny you say that. I stay at the Old Key West resort which has VCR's in the room and on one of my last trips, I brought a blank video tape to record it. But as luck should have it, all the VCR's are being replace by DVD player's and my room had already been changed, so I couldn't tape it.

When I go in October, I'll be sure to hook up by digital video camera and tape it. Then I'll capture the video on my computer and post it here for all the Kryssa fans out there. :kiss: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Finally, since those first two things have nothing to do with this topic, does anyone remember the old old Disney TV? Jiminey Cricket was the host and there was a huge map of WDW behind him. Ah, memories. We used to watch it first thing after we checked in while we unpacked.
