Is Be Our Guest REALLY worth it?

I absolutely loved my lunch there. As a quick service option, YES IT IS WORTH IT. For dinner, it was good but I wasn't blown away... You get to meet the beast at dinner which helps but I would prefer lunch here over dinner any day.

We've only eaten lunch here. The nicest room to us was the west wing with the rose and the torn picture of the beasts former self. It's the most intimate.

I've had dinner there, and I went expecting it to just be okay, but it was great, Maybe we got lucky, I know it can be hit or miss for people, but the portions were great, the atmosphere was great (a little too dark). I would say it worth it to go at least once and see for yourself.

We just ate here today for dinner. Decent french onion soup. I think I'll try the salad next time. The shrimp and scallops dinner has changed since last time. They no longer serve it with the large puff pastry. It is now served on top of large, ribbon pasta. Nice change. Very tasty. The strawberry cupcake is always sweet and yummy.

Food wise it is really good. I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best in the Parks, but it is above average. The atmosphere is great especially when the Beast enters. Having an alcoholic beverage at a dinner was a plus, but nothing that should make or break your decision. My suggestion is if you have a set date you wouldlke to eat at BOG either for lunch or dinner and get it that day than that is great. If you are unable to get a reservation for that day than make alternative plans with another choice. Do not change your plans from another day just to accommodate a BOG reservation though.

So here's my dilemma. I had all my ADRs planned for December then late EMH were released for MK on Wednesday when I was planning on being at MK on Monday. I love being in the parks as late as possible. I have an 8:10 ADR at BOG on Monday. I'll keep looking for Wednesday, but if I'm unable to get one is it really worth keeping the one on Monday? I'm sure it will be easier to pick something up at a Monorail resort or elsewhere in the MK on Wednesday. I was already able to move my Wednesday reservation at Sanna to Monday.

I enjoy Be Our Guest. I have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although breakfast was delicious and dinner was good, lunch is my favorite. I personally prefer it over dinner. I prefer the menu at lunch then dinner. Meeting the Beast is fun but it is a rather "flat" experience where he is not very interactive. It sounds like you will get more out of enjoying the late night at Magic Kingdom then at Be Our Guest for dinner. Good luck and have a magical trip!
