Is Barnstormer fun anymore?

It's a little kid coaster. I'm sure it will please the preschool crowd as much as it did before.

I don't know any adults who liked it before, so haven't heard anything. I'm not overwhelmed by the theme in that whole area...if it weren't so red I might like it better. I used to avoid Target for the same reason, but then they toned it down. :)

The Coaster itself is a Vekoma Roller Skater. It's commonly used as a kids coaster at many parks especially six flags. While the Goofini Version reduced the theming. The Toontown Cropduster Version was themed better since it had gone through the barn and had a farm to fly around in.

It IS a rollercoaster afterall...don't know of many that aren't "fun."

It is just way too short. I fear that once the 7DMT opens up, people will just forget about the Barnstormer.

They didn't move the coaster. They just removed the barn.

I'm not sure if the overall area layout has change that much, But if i remember correctly, Donalds boat was closer to the railroad and the Barnstormer was closer to the entrance of ToonTown. I too think the theming before was way more solid...even though it's a generic kiddy coaster. Heck, I can ride similar rides at Universal, Sea World, Islands of Adventure AND Busch Gardens! Everybody's got something similar to this coaster. The only real differences are the themes.

The barnstormer will always be a favorite classic to me because of wonderful memories that have been made on it. My family gets almost as excited over it as Space Mountain! :p

The coaster did not move at all, just re-themeing.

Same ride, other than being a mirror-image, as the Woody Woodpecker coaster at Universal.
Wonder which has better theming now....

I'd be fine if I never went on it again. Its short and is pretty much tailored to the younger crowd.
But, I do like the look, theming and details of it like the burning effects. It's "fun" to walk by the themed scenery of it.

Yea, the rocket? I guess is what it is, has "smoke" coming out of it and you can see the spark/fire effects. You can smell the burning too. Unless its already in need of refurbishment and this effect is no longer working.....(this was back in April)

Oh, I see- the new theming contains a rocket with special effects. I haven't been on it since it changed.
And I could have sworn several posters said that there was no theming, but . . . you know how that goes . . .
