For some reason, Ivan caused a second blooming of some plants (I think it is because his winds stripped the leaves off and that is sa trigger for new blooms on certain plants). All the new pollen has caused an increase in allergy symptoms. ICK!!!!!
My doctor prescribed Allegra (among several other drugs) for me. It really helped cut back on many of the most severe symptoms. He gave me a couple of refills on the Allegra, so I intend to stock up!:D

Not officially sick, but this morning, I didn't feel like I was at 100%; more like 95% or so. Perhaps a cold is a-brewin' in me...

Are you wheezing at all? I've had pneumonia several times as a kid due to really bad air pollution caused from ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) in Decatur, IL. They have had so many problems with the government in their pollution levels and never do anything about it. I always got that when I lived there, but as soon as I moved away I'd never get sick....until I moved back there and got it again. Luckily I'll never live there again! :sohappy:

Immoxicillian (sp?) might be best for you. Ask your doctor if taking that will help you any. I love taking that stuff as it helps with everything (in regards to severe colds, pneumonia, etc).

I hope you feel better, along with everyone else on here that's suffering from something.

Oh yea, just call me Weezy!!! I don't think it's bad pollution, I think it started during cheerleading (all that yelling at the girls) and then just worked it's way in. Biaxin is supposed to be one of the strongest antibiotics out there, only downside is that your mouth tastes like your are s__________g on pennies. Pharmacist says to eat chocolate to get rid of the taste......yea like I need another reason to eat chocolate.

I'll feel better when I'm out of this office and headed for the weekend. Thanks for the "get well" wishes!!

Biaxin is a wonderful antibiotic, but yeah it leaves a mettalic taste in your mouth. Amoxicillin doesn't work for my kids, never has. Augmentin works wonders for us. Remember that antibiotics DO NOT work on a virus, that has to run its course. Gucci, if you still feel bad and are wheezing after a few days get back to the dr.

I had a terrible cold a week back.... :(

Let me tell you something though -- every time I'm sick it always is days before a weekend excursion to WDW. But when I get there....I'm better! I feel fine. And then I come back home....sick once again. I swear it's the air there....

I feel hot in a cold house.. and cold in a hot bandroom.... (wearing a lettermen jacket as well...) I have terrible alergies and common colds... (take that public schooling which is so overcrowded yet you wont let us stay home for more than 5 days or else we fail..)
