Is a Castle walk-thru possible?

Sorry for going slightly off topic, but, BOY! What I wouldn't give to have the dragon AA they've got below Sleeping Beauty's castle at DLP!

I can only imagine how awesome it is to see something so large (and kind of scary) living under the castle.

I want this in AK instead, the park that still really needs a dragon.

The Dragon looks really good but it doesn't exactly fit with Cinderella if they were to do a walk through attraction. Not really sure what big thing they could do for Cindy. Any ideas?

IMO I like having the restaurant there. I would rather have the restaurant than a walk thru attraction. Do any of the other castles even have restaurants?

Didn't even think of that, but good point! :hammer:

The dragon would just be sooooo cool. :D

I made a reference to a possibility earlier. If the SW runaway mine train rumor is true than I think it possible that they plan to convert the existing SW ride into a Cindy walk through or ride by making it seem like a part of the castle. The queue could even start in the castle if they created a "tunnel" across to the ride building. But they could also put in an SB attraction as somebody suggested. I thnk the FL makeover could be very extensive. It would be the easiest area in the MK to redo. Tons of space.

The rumor that included a SW mine train rumor clearly stated that the Snow White ride would be replaced with a Beauty & the beast dark ride. Which is preferable to a Cinderrella walkthrough.

surely this would mean the closing/moving of the bibbidi bobbidi boutique? and since this is a nice little money earner for the powers that be, i don't see it happening...

Why can't WDW have both? And why would you need to close the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or shutter the restaurant, etc.?

WDW has the BIGGEST Castle in the world, with the most sprawling piece of land surrounding it to mold into a fabulous Fantasyland. Why is it cut the restaurant and get the walkthrough? Or cut the Snow White ride to get the Beauty & The Beast ride? There is so much space at WDW's Fantasyland, there should be all of these things and more!

Disneyland's Fantasyland is compact and small, and it has many more attractions than WDW has. And Disneyland still has room for Princess Fantasy Faire, a new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, stores, restaurants, Snow White Wishing Well, shady nooks, etc. WHY DOESN'T WDW HAVE THIS TOO?!? There is no good reason.

Disneyland's Fantasyland = 13 Attractions
Matterhorn Bobsleds - E Ticket
It's A Small World - E Ticket
Storybookland Canal Boats - D Ticket
Casey Jr. Circus Train - C Ticket
Peter Pan's Flight - C Ticket
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - C Ticket
Alice In Wonderland - C Ticket
Snow White's Scary Adventures - C Ticket
Pinnochio's Daring Journey - C Ticket
King Arthur's Carousel - B Ticket
Mad Tea Party - B Ticket
Dumbo The Flying Elephant - B Ticket
Sleeping Beauty Castle Tour - A Ticket

WDW's Fantasyland = 8 Attractions
It's A Small World - E Ticket
Mickey's Philharmagic - D Ticket
Peter Pan's Flight - C Ticket
Snow White's Scary Adventures - C Ticket
Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - C Ticket
Cinderella's Golden Carousel - B Ticket
Mad Tea Party - B Ticket
Dumbo The Flying Elephant - B Ticket

Stop making excuses and put all that land to use! Get some new rides in there!

The castle itself already has a shop, restaurant (which includes dining area, lobby, kitchen, restrooms and elevator for wheelchair guests) and an apartment with elevator to get there and stairway for Tinkerbell. I don't care how big you think the castle is, unless you show me a blueprint of the interior I refuse to believe that such space exists. TDL's castle walkthorugh was mostly underground with only the entrance and Black Cauldron scene in the castle itself. You can't have it underground because of the utilidoors so simply put there is no space.

However I agree that Fantasyland should add and not subtract it's attraction count (especially if it means ditching Snow White for Beauty and the Beast).

Does anyone have links or pictures of the other Disney Castle walk-thrus?
I've seen a few of the DL one but they were of the old walk-thru.
Thanks!

Here's a YouTube video of the new Disneyland version. Beware, however, that this attraction is a walking tour through darkened halls and intimate displays and it's very difficult to capture on an amateur YouTube video. But it gives you a good idea of what it's like and the nifty digital tricks they've added to the original 1957 concept. It's classic 1950's Walt Disney theme park design freshened for the 21st century, and like much of Disneyland it is utterly charming.

It's also small and compact, and would be easy to shoehorn into the massive WDW Castle. Probably even easier than shoehorning it into the much smaller Disneyland Castle that already has a gift shop and a wheelchair accesible tour room smashed in there, plus room for pyro and effects equipment for fireworks shows, etc.
