Sebastian is the first child of my cousin Cassandra and her husband Dave. I'll be going down to Tampa to visit them next month.

I have some not-so-good news. Seb is having an issue with his eye (I forget what it's called, but something like 30% of all babies born have it), where it's infected and oozing pus. He's been on antibiotics but I guess it hasn't really improved. It looks like he's going to have to have surgery.

My nephew had issues with his eye, too, but surgery wasn't necessary.

I hope he can avoid it.
