Hello!
I am brand new to the forum, but was referred by a friend and co worker who is about to go back to Disney shortly, dnalorg. I am so jealous!
A little about me:
I am 31 years old, married with a 16 month old son. I had never been to Disney in my entire life, until the past April. We decided to go for my 31st birthday, our anniversary and my son's 1 year old birthday - we have a lot to celebrate in April! I was completely buttoned up when we went too .. pins everywhere!
I love all things Disney but was a little skeptical I guess, or maybe just worn out when we arrived and was afraid I wouldn't feel the magic of Disney when we arrived.
Most of the day we wandered around taking in the sites and sounds along Main Street and seeing everyone in their shiny mouse ears and goofy hats. I was enjoying myself, but still felt a little apprehensive - at least until the light parade that night. In the middle of it I broke down and cried - not because I was sad, but because it finally sunk in! I was really at Disney and the place in like no other place on earth. It is amazing!
Our family is completely hooked and can't wait to go back! We want to make it our goal to go yearly, and hope to go back next September for my husband's birthday.
