Back on topic, these would be the bridges that link the soundstages and used to be used on the backstage tour. i'm not sure if it says it on the guest side of the bridge, but definately on the cast member side of the bridge it says something along the lines of 'studio tour bridge #'

Which is what I find interesting - maybe the way to fix the boring Backlot Tour is to touring people through the behind-the-scenes of Toy Story Mania?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I can not find anywhere what are each stages number. I remember the old tour, but do not know which stage is which. I guess my question is what is the stage directly north of the tour pre-show/water tank? Looking a live search I could not make out the numbers.
Thanks in advance.

Found this bit interesting:

"Widening Pkg. Soundstage 3 Touring Bridge"

Isn't that the walkway where they used to bring the backlot tour through to see the studios? Or am i wrong?

I'm assuming it maybe for castmember enterences? Or maybe to extend the line on to this ramp...So that it doesn't go outside un-covered. and they could be widening it to make it fit more...or better for wheel chairs to get through...just ideas:cool:

Interesting. There was a pretty large amount of space up there on the viewing platforms. I'll be interested to see if this is for guest area (which I doubt) or cast.

Sounds right to me. But didn't they pretty much demolish the soundstages where TSM is being built? Did they leave one standing?
To the contrary, TSM is being built inside the soundstage. The stage itself was gutted but the building is still vintage 1989.

I think you're talking about Stage 1... Its the closest to the Water Tank. It was the one not being used by WWTBAM:PI. Mostly used for Cast Member events and was set up as a merchandise store for Star Wars Weekend.

When I was working at Disney I was in Quick Service Food and Beverage for a while and I was helping set up an event in SS1. I was dropping off an Ice Cream Cart and when I got to there it was open but completely empty. Huge thrill for me being a wannabe filmmaker getting to walk around in a HUGE professional soundstage.

Did they gut all 3 stages for TSM? And what about Narnia and the Jim Henson Creature Shop building on the other side are they still there?
