cheating sucks.. end of story.

When I go to CRT, I just walk up. I've done this 16 times and 10 I've been seated

nah... he's a wuss. Prince Phillip all the way.. he's a REAL man. He slayed a dragon for his woman.

What did prince charming do? Put her shoe on..

the snow prince? kissed her and that was it

aladdin? he was trapped by a snake and had a genie do his bidding for him

prince eric? he was playing with his dog all day

don't even get me started on the other Princes...

Prince Phillip (and Bert, who I'll count as a prince) are the only ones worth anything..

One excellent way to get around it all is to call 60 days in advance of the time you want to do it. My friends and I did for the New Years evening, and we got into eat at Cindy's Castle. And already most spots were taken, but we still got in.

the ebay stuff really does make me upset, making profit from those who could otherwise get this stuff for free, if the system wasnt being abused!

Well we have 10 days at Disney..so we had 10 tries...each day 60 days in advance...but we never got through this way..would get answered and by 7:02 am E.Time they were booked up for Cindys b'fast...I think thats why people are moaning...if its people booking them then selling the ressies on Ebay that is totally wrong! Disney doesnt charge a fee why should someone be allowed to sell something like that? That is wrong....no way around it! They should definately stop the selling of them on Ebay!

New Cinderella Policy

I started a new thread on Cinderella's breakfast this morning. Sorry I searched but didn't notice this thread or I would have just replyed here. To repeat my thread:
WDWinfo.com is reporting a change in reservation policy. Apparently starting June 9, you must give a credit card number. This is a direct response to mass booking by these groups. Here's the link:

All I have to say is, "cool, cool, cool!":D :sohappy: :D

See, works!

As I've said in other posts, Disney does have people combing thru sites like these to get the jist of how people are reacting to their product.

Now if our constant complaining and critiquing can either get them to open up some more tables at CRT for breakfast, get them to continue the princess meet & greet thing into lunch and/or dinner, OR get them to add another legit "face character" princess meal at another locale in WDW. If so, maybe the hectic 7:00am EST call in thing will really ease up a bit. Personally, I'm for all of the above.

And as I said, they did this credit card deposit thing to me six weeks ago just to book a rather large party into Spoodles with a PR. If you're a legit caller and have intentions to eat at a particular restaurant, why would this even be a problem? After all, if one is responsible enough to call in to make PR for the popular joints (which almost always requires a bright and early phone call to WDW dining on 60 or 120 days prior to your visit), then how hard is it for the same individual to call up and cancel, particularly with a $5-$10 deposit per head on the line?

The more I think about this, the more I love it! Eliminate the pretenders! And make the people who waffle and take up space pay!

now that I think about it, when we ate at Cindy's castle on new years eve, they asked for my credit card. if you don't show up, you are fined 10 bucks a person. and you have to show the credit card too.

That is great news! Thanks for the update. It's about time they did this.

A friend of ours goes to Disney every other year and has been trying to get ressies for this for his daughter. He would call and to help him out I would call and neither of us every got through. He's going again in Sept so he should have a fighting chance now :)

Even though we have a son and it really doesn't matter too much to us, I was so annoyed that the other site was able to do this! It was so unfair!

And before anyone says anything about me being sexist ;) , we did go to the breakfast last year with my son and he did love it. (Kind of weird circumstances though...they wer beggin us to come in b/c they had so many empty tables) He loved getting all the attention from the pretty princesses and meeting Alladin!

Howie says he's going to start using "reader's club" credit to make the ressies.
I hear that the cards he's using are not validated.
I hope Disney plans to put ahold on the credit cards for the amount they're going to charge. if that happens, the invalid cards won't hold a ressie.

and if he uses a valid card he could get stuck if someone doesn't show up. cool.

My God, that Howie is a total jerk!

Why doesn't that guy get the clue that Disney changed its policy because of people like him.

It's really sad how some people try to always get around the rules. I've read posts on this wonderful site where people write in and proudly boast that they've broken thru and taken advantage of beating the Fast Pass system. And again I say, what jerks!

Certain things are in place with certain attempted rules so that everyone gets an even shot at things. When some jerk figures out how to beat the system, and, in the case of Howie, makes it pretty wide-spread that he'll break it for you, all that does is make things rougher for us who just want to go on rides and eat at nice restaurants by following the proposed and well publicized rules.

What do these people want anyway? For Disney to end PR's and Fast Passes, making everything a first-come first-served free-for-all? I love the fact that I can plan my days around both PR's and Fast Passes, particularly since I tend to go during school vacations when the parks are crowded.

Ha Ha Howie!!!!

And of course Howie was unavailable for comment to the Sentinel. :hammer: I guess that he is now in hiding somewhere with his tail between his legs. After all his Disney said this and Disney said that he finally got the public shaming that IMHO, he so rightfully deserved.
So Hooray for fairness!! Hooray for Disney!! and a big Hooray for the little guy!!:sohappy: :sohappy:

K- I know I'm asking for it now but here goes...

Back a few years ago (late 98) when I was VERY new to the internet and how to make my own ressies, Howie was very kind to me and helped me alot. I do think that the powers that be should put aside alot of these ressies for resort guests and such, but otherwise they are very difficult to get and I for one have no time each a.m. to get up and repeatedly call for them.

Come on ya'll - he's not selling them...

Give peace a chance!
