Mexico Show Lighting Package?

For what show? And where?

That fascinates me, and makes me think of grand prospects like a new entertainment ofering or a new parade - but it's sadly very vague.

Anywho, nothing else of major interest in the permits except that they've filed more permits to install facility stuff for the Waste Management exhibit coming to Innoventions and they're installing tons of defibrillator's around DisneyQuest and office buildings and such.

Hmm.. Mexico show lighting... *ponders*

I have an Imagineer friend who works in Epcot, and he uses the word "show" in a very general way. This might not be a "show" performance like you're thinking; they could mean "show" to refer to some or all of the Mexico pavilion that's already there.

There are two types of main lighting, show and work lights. Shows light would the lights used during normal operations, such as the post light on the ramps. Worklights are the other types, hidden in celings and on rooftops

Bingo. Work lights are the bright flourescents (or whatever type) that make the place look all harsh and cold. Show lights are what the normal guests see. My best example I can provide would be when you used to sit down for Who Wants to be a Millionaire Play It... remember as soon as the show started, the lights went all "moody" on you? Same concept. Although in that case, even the work lights were probably show lights, but that's another story. :hammer:

Maybe it has to do with the stuff on the pavilion for Illuminations. Or maybe it's to create a pretty light distraction to confuse us all and keep us in the tequila bar spending our money.

Or maybe it's a super-high-powered mag-lite to prep guests for the inevitable FHP... "ya been drankin' t'night, boy?"

There are many different types of lighting. Normal background lighting comes on everynight as the street lights and lanterns around everywhere. For the show lighting there is Parade lighting and Pagent lighting and then ROE lighting. They are used at different times. They are using Parade and Pagent lighting for the Food and Wine Festival now.

The lighting in the basement of tower of terror is show lighting. At disneyquest, if you look at the ceiling and see vapor lights turned offf, they're work lights.
