--A one-day MYW Base Ticket good for one year.
The information I have says that "the free birthday ticket may be upgraded." However, the Guest is responsible for paying any cost incurred for the upgrade. It also specifically says that days cannot be credited to an Annual Pass.A little extra info:
The good-for-one-year ticket is *not* upgradable. It's a one-day ticket, and that's it.
If you don't already have park tickets as part of a vacation package or Annual Pass, and your birthday falls during your trip, you can get your Birthday Ticket up to 7 days early for the purpose up upgrading it to a ticket that you can use for your entire trip. They'll give you credit for the 1-day ticket and you pay the difference in price.

Thanks for the link. I was looking off of a different FAQ that didn't make the distinction clear.according to the rules on the disney site the birthday ticket may be upgraded but the good for a year tiicket may not.

A Comp ticket is still an admission ticket, I'd say yes.Odd question, but didn't want to start another thread...
Just registered my birthday with WDW. During my trip, I'll be using comp tickets courtesy of a wonderful friend who is a CM. Can I still show them the comp admission ticket at the Will Call window and get a "Birthday Fun Card" instead of admission?
Also, there's no way to use it on food/drink, right?
Thanks in advance! :wave:

Ummm...Happy Birthday?Wasn't a 70$ Gift Carp part of the deal too?
:ROFLOL::ROFLOL:Ummm...Happy Birthday?
(and, yes, one option is a merchandise-only gift card good in the amount that the one celebrating the birthday would have otherwise paid for a ticket)
According the the legal information you can only get the other birthday options if you have an annual pass, season pass, or a previously purchased multi-day ticket. At least that's how I read it. I doubt Disney will accept a comp ticket otherwise they'd be giving a lot of money out. ($75 times 55,000 cast members)
