Insert Pixie Dust into Pipe... Light : A Pre Trip Disney Report

Ok... tonight, just happened. No elaborations or exaggerations. I had to travel for work and ended up stopping at the Foxwoods Casino with my FIL. No winners tonight, but I had a vivid dream that included my reaction of our AP ending in July. I woke up all ed.

Tonight, my wife and I made a nice dinner at home and threw on Pinocchio. While watching my wife just looked at me and said, "agh, crap... I really just want to go back". The funny part of all of this is that I was the one who really wanted to go, she resisted and made it clear we needed to wait until all FL was completed.

Well, 10 minutes later... two flights booked, and reservations made at the POP and we're headed to Disney for the third time in less than 12 months.

this was the easiest trip ever planned... flights, resort, and 6 ADR's booked in 2 hours!

If I can figure out how to unload and store undeveloped film I'll take my 4x5 Polaroid 110a!

Or I'll just buy a mirror less system... I'm just tired of carrying around my damn DSLR. I'm unloading gear on eBay now, my SB 900 flash, and eventually will sell off my beast 70-200 workhorse lens.

The whole point of this PTR is to show people you don't always have to plan 180 days out. Is that my ideal dining plan? No, but for 10 days before a trip? Pretty damn good. Liberty isn't all that great but it's only only bust on my list.

I gamble with some knowledge of how to increase my odds. Ironically I play Roulette, the game that favors the house the most. What makes me a winner is I play "quarters" so I have a chart of the order of the numbers on the board and play entire quarters of the board, usually 15 numbers or so. I almost always win at some point and walk away up for the night.

This last time I walked away with 2 black chips(200 bucks) and on the way to the cashier saw another roulette table and dropped both on black... It hit red. Goodbye 200 dollars in 8 seconds lol. Oh well, have to play to win, right?

We are getting close!!! At this point my normal fear and paranoia kick in regarding the projected weather. I know it rains in FL but I always fear an entire washout. Oh well, hopefully it stays relatively clear and fresh.

... oh, wait.... too late!! haha. I know the feeling of the Disney blues. I just got back last Sunday and I'm already ready for the next 88 days to fly by so I can be back down there!

Not a bad ADR line-up. Love 50s and we're trying Garden Grill for the first time in Sept. And Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my favorites!! Their pot roast is really good! Hope you two have a blast!!

We may nix the San Angel Inn (a personal favorite) for the Chefs de France.

I posted my ADR's to show that the 180 day mark is valid, but it's often one of those things that is more feared based on reputation than reality. Sure, I'm only a party of two so it'll probably be harder for a family of four but considering I booked 9 days out I was impressed with what I got.
