I've decided to make a seperate thread for it. Everyone seems to think the ride vehicle will be a robocoaster type vehicle, but from what I've been told it's not. I will not say from whom I received this information, so please don't ask. The pictures below come from a reliable source I know and have no reason to think the person is incorrect. However, keep in mind this is only in the planning stages and things may change, so incase this is not what's used I reserve the right to be 100% incorrect. The pictures below are of concepts only. This is not a WDI made ride vehicle, but from an outside source that they will be using the technology from. This type of ride vehicle allows 360° turning and the vehicle to raise and lower many feet. The track is concealed and it will feel like you're floating/riding on air. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. As I get more information and am told I can publicly post it I will. Feel free to post any feedback.

Edit: Please forgive me as I am at work and trying to type this up rather quickly. Other interesting information on the vehicles is that they can lean left/right (Think about possibilities of dodging an object).

I must say that based on those renderings it would be a very interesting concept. It sure looks as those the ride would be able to obtain high speeds as well as raising and lower the heights and 360 degree rotation. Have to wait and see if anything comes to pass but the concept looks promising for any ride whether it be based on the Incredibles or not.

I figured this would be a good idea. I am the one who provided the original pics though.

The Incredibles attraction is rumored for a spot in either MK's tomorrowland or possibly in MGM somewhere from what I've been told. Both areas are being looked into. I was also told that it will be done if greenlite by end of 2007 or 1st quarter in 2008.

>Those pictures, like Lee stated, have been floating around the internet and this site for quite some time.

Ok, I don't want to sound mean, but please read my entire post above before posting a reply that these pics have been on this site for some time. I know this because I am the person that released them in the thread I have linked below. On page 3 or 4 I mention information about the ride vehicle/concept and that I will post pictures later of the ride vehicle. Page 5 of the thread I posted the pictures. I created this new thread because the thread I posted the pictures in initially is not about the Incredibles ride but rather the Monsters show that will replace Timekeeper. I thought I made this clear in my first post, but obviously not. I wanted to share this with everyone and because people may not read every thread on the forum, I created a new thread that made sense to make. Please before anyone makes a comment about the pictures being posted before, I invite you to look at the thread below. I am the one who released the pictures before and the link to that thread is listed below. Please ready the above post fully before replying that I just copied the links and am taking credit for revealing the ride concept. I don't want to sound mean, but apparently two different people didn't read my whole first post.

oops i really should read the whole page before posting.
this sounds big,
i think that the spot in mgm would be the best option, there is more room there than in tomorrowland.

We're not talking about them being released within the last few months...we're talking over a year at least.

Show me the thread. I highly doubt this was posted before. This is a brand new concept, and don't believe these pictures were even made a yr or more ago.

Tomorrowland.... Skyway? CoP? or both??

MGM needs it more.

Methinks its a bit of a better fit in MGM as well. Regardless, of posting dates, rumour correctness, etc. - those drawings look very cool.

It's part of the metadata for the image. Can't really provide a link to view the 'inside' structure of the image.

Oh, ok. Well it's obvious the ride system has been posted here before. Like I mentioned previously, the concept is not WDI, but an outside source, and yes it is the ride system jedimaster referred to and I am not exactly sure the proper spelling either. I am being told that this is the ride system used for Incredibles though and it makes sense with the story.

Yes, it's called the "Cantilevered Coaster"

You are correct Jedimaster

http://www.cantileveredcoaster.com/

Notice the date at the bottom...2003 to 2006. It's been an idea for a while...and those pics have been around for a while.

Am I saying that you're dead wrong about it being utilized in the rumored Incredibles attraction? No. But this isn't a really "new" idea for a ride system...it just has yet to be implemented.
