Umm, yes and no. No, I have come across some stunningly beautiful sirens:Hi @S.P.E.W! Um, no.I hope you are not on Google looking at those ugly siren mermaids, some of them are like half monster and half fish or something. And, then they lead guys to their doom. Just no. LOL. I like Ariel, though.
Siren - a seductively beautiful and charming woman, especially one who beguiles (attracts) men: a siren of the silver screen.
OMG!!! @spacemt354, your questions are so difficult! My choice would be American Adventure.Question of the Day - December 16, 2016
If you had to choose to save one of these attractions from WDW, which would it be? Hall of Presidents or The American Adventure?
Hi @S.P.E.W! Wow!!! None of those Sirens look like Ariel. LOL. But, thanks for the posting the intriguing pics. You seem to really know your "Sirens." Just be careful!!Umm, yes and no. No, I have come across some stunningly beautiful sirens:
Technically not a siren from Greek or Roman legends but the (fictional) scientific name and singing voice makes her close enough to be considered a "siren".
But I have come across some less beautiful:
And a little bit of both:
Thank you, I know a bit of mermaid lore (did you know that in British folklore, sailors considered mermaids as omens of storms, rough seas, and shipwrecks?) and a bit other aquatic mythological creatures and beings.Hi @S.P.E.W! Rogue One was awesome, was it not? I just saw it tonight as well.Okay i know it's like 3 am but i seriously cannot stop thinking about Star Wars. I just saw Rogue One a few hours ago and I'm groaning at the fact that we won't be seeing Star Wars Land for like another 7 years! Disney takes so long to build stuff. If only Disney was like Universal. They can build an entire land in literally just 2 years.
Rather than simply rely on nostalgia it actually builds more depth to A New Hope in ways I wasn't expecting at all.I was so mesmerized by how amazing Rogue One was. I freaking loved it! Also, the audience i was with helped with the experience of seeing it, as everyone was cheering and laughing.
Great job Disney - you're 2/2 now!I went in with all around excitement. I was hearing before that the film was set before a New Hope and after Revenge of the Sith. At first i was sad that it wasn't a continuation of Force Awakens, as i adored that film. But all my sadness went away after i saw this. It perfectly told it's story so good, that we honestly have a full, but not yet complete story of Star Wars as their are still many storiesto tell
Disney can do no wrong with Star Wars! I just jinxed it now, didn't I? Great now we'll be having a Jar Jar Binks solo movie
Dangit, you beat me to it haha. I read the prompt and immeadietly thought of a flying coaster themed to Peter Pan^ For me, I've always through Peter Pan would work well as a roller coaster to Neverland.
