INDIANA JONES was scared of Nemo? Riiiiiiiiiiiight... The audience is not even the same!
If you read that somewhere, OK, I'm sorry, CEO, but I really don't see any sense in it.

By the way, down here it comes out on November 4th, and I already pre-ordered it. I can barely wait!!!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy:

It's a four disc set. One for each movie, and one with extras. It was listed as widescreen on Amazon.com.

I've been wanting this since I got my first DVD player. I can't WAIT for that boulder to shake the walls in my living room! :D

Amazing how much technology has been lost with those ancient civilizations, isn't it?

Good grief, I may have to take out another loan. Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty, Lion King, and now Junior. Oh well, it's good for the economy!

Ditto!

And I just found out that Indy will be arriving early down here too, October 21st! Mine will come with an Indy backpack, and two other stores are offering one of those Aussie-style hats.

The 3 movies with extras plus one extra disc with extras only; 3 hours of never-before-seen footage, totalizing 10 hours of material!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy:

Barely a week away! I SOOOOOO can't wait for this!!! This is why VCRs and DVDs were created in the first place, so that people could have these movies at home!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

And to top it all, Frank Marshall already said that he doesn't want to use CGI, he wants to do it old school, like the other movies!!! :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:

There's a way to get the Indiana Jones box set for only $35 (it's $45 everywhere else). The recent flier for Eckerd's has the box set listed for only $34.99 (check the second to last page). Whether it's a typo or not, pretty much all the major stores will honor a pricematch. The only issue is that not all the Eckerds have received their copies, so it's hit or miss if the store you ask to pricematch will call a local Eckerds or not. All I can say is that this trick worked for myself and several of my friends.

Just picked mine up, too!! Yay! I've been waiting for this for years! You have no idea how hard it was for me to actually go to class this morning.

Best Buy actually adds a 5th disc to the set. Not sure if that's true everywhere. But there's a bonus disc on the package that has the old "Making of Raiders of the Lost Ark" featurette. Yay!

Well, first things first: the box. I have never seen a regular box that's as good as this one. I'm not counting boxes like the Simpsons or Friends sets, those open up like a book. I mean boxes like the Mr. Bean or the Back to the Future sets. This box looks and feels strong and resistent, and it has details like the glove cover from the Spider-Man DVD.
I haven't watched the movies yet, but I'm done with the bonus disc, and it's a fan's heaven!! It's complete beyond belief. Besides the making of the Trilogy, there are several specific bits about the stunts, the sound, the music and the effects on all movies. Those are short, around 10 to 15 minutes. The making of breaks the 2 hour mark, almost 50 minutes to each movie! Now, one thing that kinda bugged me, there are no deleted scenes and there's no mention anywhere of the next sequel, except John Williams saying he'd love for it to happen. I had really hoped they'd add some kinda blooper reel or deleted scene selection, but you get glimpses of those during the making of. Also, there are no commentary tracks, but the making of analyzes each movie sequence by sequence, so I suppose a commentary track would be redundant.

I did pop in Raiders just to take a pic, and the movie is GORGEOUS. Overall, the best DVDs I have EVER bought, period. Everyone should have this at home, even if just to entertain guests. VHS and DVD technologies were created just so people could watch these movies at home, and we finally have it on the right format.
