In room celebrations and gifts

We had planned for our trip in November to be a celebration of our anniversary (10/1) and my birthday (11/19), but since we got engaged on thursday:sohappy:, we'll now to celebrating that as well. I already called and added it to our reservation, but I was looking at the Disney Florist and gifts and was thinking about getting an in room celebration. I'd really like the Ears to the Bride and Groom package. I know the price changes based on the champagne ordered, but could anyone maybe give me a rounded estimate of the price and if it's worth it? I'd like it to be a surprise and have it waiting in our room when we arrive.

Congratulations!!!! Just give them a call and find out what they charge.

Don't know what they charge, know that I used an outside source for my parents flowers for my wedding at Disney, was way cheaper for us that way. When I got married I talked to a friend of mine that was a CM so he got me the hats and left them at the front desk for me (free, they were his gift to me, (we had never met))

Congratulations!! What a wonderful trip you will have with all those fantastic things to celebrate!!

My DH and I have done 3 in room surprises. It is definitely pricey, but it is so magical that I love it. We did the two mickey stockings one year and that wasn't too bad - i think about $75 for two stockings filled with extra stuff and our names on the stockings. Then I went big with one of the Mickey Magical Celebrations which was about $225. For our honeymoon, we also did a basket which had snacks, a container/bowl, champagne and glasses and it was around $100 for everything.

Congratulations!!

I did one of these last year. It was the Mickey Welcome package (or something like that, I can't remember).

I think it was a TOTAL waste of money. I will never do it again. For $225 we got a giant box with gloves, a couple or rice krispie treats, some stickers that went on the floor that looked like Mickey footprints, a little banner, and a glow in the dark tinkerbell ornament. I was really dissapointed in what we got for the price.

Maybe it was the package we got, or who put it all in the room, but it was big letdown. Even my wife, who I got it for, said that the money would have been better spent on a nice meal somewhere.

Sorry, just thought it was a waste.
