You want to watch a football match whilst in WDW... wow.
I believe there is a TV in Epcot guest relations where they are showing the matches. But I think it's more for scores, and not for sustained viewing.
I think it would have been a great time to put in a big screen in the World Showcase Plaza area, or open up the World Showplace as a viewing area. The World Cup fits very well Epcot.
 If I went to WDW once every two years like yourself, I wouldn't be worried about it. But since I go about every week, trust me, I'm not going to miss anything sitting down for a 90 minute game.

Good points about the Super Bowl et al...but WDW pulls a pretty sizeable international crowd. If they ever did start airing sports events in the parks, I bet the World Cup in Epcot would get plenty of attention. If they don't do that sort of thing for sports that Americans actually follow in large numbers, they certainly aren't going to start doing that for soccer games featuring foreign countries.
:lol:Rose and Crown?
But, I wouldn't expect any watching in France or Italy taking place....
This or like many have said go to ESPN zone on the boardwalk and watch them. Another option since you go every week just stay home this week and watch the games. If you got a good phone you can watch the game live on it. Go USA!
