Impact of Universal Orlando's Super Bowl Offer on WDW?

How is a whopper bar any more affordable than eating at the McDonald's at Downtown Disney or any of the quick service restaurants in the parks?

Do you know how overpriced the McDonald's is at Downtown Disney?

If the Burger King maintains a reasonable price rate, it's going to be spades over WDW's options.

The three fast food joints are desperately needed at Citywalk. Right now the only quick service option is Pastamore and that awful ODV cart next to the Coke stand. I will welcome these restaurants with open arms when I have a craving for something reasonably priced at Universal Orlando. Beats the hell out of driving up Kirkman Rd to Ghettowest's McDonalds.

Now...for the cost of the superbowl ad time....That is some big change!

The superbowl ad time didn't cost Universal a dime (read the article in Orlando Sentinel that was posted at the beginning of this thread). Universal is owned by NBC, and NBC didn't charge Universal anything for the commercial.

Belive me... They paid for the commercials. NBC/Universal and the Universal theme parks are different divisions under GE and even though they may have gotten a price break, they most likely had to pay money, thats like when the Disney Parks air commercials on ABC... or Sponsor something on ABC.. they paid for it, even if the money just moved from one book to another internally.
