Total credit needs to go to WDI for choosing the IDEAL location for this attraction...that side of epcot is a ghost town for the most part...

Wednesday, I was driving the Cast Shuttle in the back of Epcot. BIG commotion with those trailers and whatnot. The worst part was that no one seemed to know anything about traffic control. Ugh... lol...

It is a large dome shaped screen that is on its side. The vehicals are moved up and forward so that the dome surrounds you to a certain degree. If you glance up or down you will see the scenes. Unfortunately the seating on the egdes and bottom can see the edges of the screen much easier than those in the middle top sections.

This is how I think of it:
You sit in a inverted vehicle (simular to a inverted coaster) that moves a little bit in front of a huge screen. I personally am not too excited.

By the looks of it...many people have not had the chance to ride Soarin Over California over in DCA. Therefore, I have always seen the addition of this ride-- a GREAT thing. One...FW is practically empty (with most people going EAST to ride Test Track and now to ride Mission Space). Two...since alot of people haven't gone on this...its practically new to many people. Three...most people can ride this attraction, its not what you would call a thrill ride.

While the video might be the same...I'm just happy more new things are in store for Epcot. Take it from someone who has already been on Soarin....this is a nice addition to EPCOT! Just my opinion.
