I would have thought if EPCOT was returning to it's past, a Spirit might have heard something before today's announcement.

and lets not forget a personal favorite

I want them to fix it. I want them to fix it all. I don't want to feel like I can skip the park and not miss anything.

I just am not ready to believe it, until I see a budget attached to it that has enough 0's on the back end of it to make me feel that they are really going to do something here that will be worthy of the Epcot name...

Obvious hope of Imagination getting the much needed attention aside, updating Spaceship Earth again with a less idiotic script and a real ending would be pretty great way to start things small.

I don't think there has been a press release.

But yes, there is a desire in WDI to get Epcot back on track.

I'm sure that there is desire in WDI. There HAS to be. If some nobody like me has a passion for that park, you'd have to think that the creative folks that found a way to work at Disney would share some of that passion. Now if we can just get the bean-counters to share that desire, we'll be in business!

It's a step in the right direction! Think happy thoughts! Epcot will rise up and into the future! lol Even if its a few years before any major changes are done its something! I'm thinking the longer it takes the better it will be

I think the jubilation is based more on the (very) speculative sentence about Disney (WDI) wanting to return Epcot to its roots. Man I wish that were true but that would be a pretty big and very sudden change from decades of neglect and deliberate dilution of theme. Did Fitzgerald do the new Canada movie or was that someone else?
