All cheerleaders are evil and hyper and for that I hate them with all my might. A backhand might set them straight, but their parents act like that too.

I was a cheer coach... my girls were not evil, and usually not hyper.. they are very good at what they do and are very respectful in the parks... they know better - I'd send 'em home quicker than they can shake their poms if they were found being rude... they don't cheer in the parks (outside of the convention) - but they are happy girls, they don't annoy the heck out of people... but they do travel in packs... I guess it's all part of it -

I'm not offended with what most of y'all say about cheerleaders - b/c many of them annoy the daylights out of me too - but just be sure to give credit where credit is due... most of them are a pain but some of them are actually not... some have been taught good manners and use them when on vacation - even at a competition...

how old are your cheerleaders? sometimes that makes a difference
I help out with 2 ages - preteen (5th, 6th, and 7th graders) and highschool - but all of our girls know better than to behave like that - our school has sent more than 1 girl home from things like this...

I give cheerleaders plenty of credit, because I know many of them. I just though it was pretty sad for us that they were the only ones who got to go up there and we didn't...

The more cheerleaders you can put into unused spaces the less cheerleaders are in the same lines as you !!

Seemed to me that the younger ones were more well-behaved.

There was a quiet group sitting near us waiting for the AK parade when an annoying group walked by and shot off a loud, obnoxious cheer. The guy next to me said, "You girls just got served!" They all laughed. :)

Two older brats and their idiot boyfriends jumped down over the rails in the SM queue and picked up some of those silver plastic balls beneath the walkway. The line was really long and we were right behind them. As soon as they got to the loading area, the CM's ceremoniously escorted them out of the ride.

Figment (holding a broom, knocking people over): " cheerleaders, get the hell out of my room! Go terrorize Test Track or Spaceship Earth or something! No ______ on the pin tables or in the darkened rainbow corridor!"

Ouch..I'm a cheerleader...trust me..we're not all like that. That's very stereo-typical. Some cheerleaders are hoardcore Disney fans just like you!

If anyone gets any digital shots of the masses of cheerleaders, please post them.

Sorry, I just got back and there were mobs of cheerleaders everywhere, but I avoided taking any pictures for fear of being called a "Dirty Old Man" :lookaroun

Had I but known you wanted pics... :drevil:

That is pretty mean, not all cheerleaders are bad, just some, let us give respect where respect is due.

I am a cher mom, my daughter was a competitive cheerleader for three years. It is a very hard sport, which deserves respect. However I do agree that it is very anoying to be on vacation and have to have them in your face. The only time they need to be spirited and extra noisy is during their competition. We cheer mom's and dad's support our girls, however we were never obnoxious and definetly didn't walk around cheering or with our hair pulled up in a perfect little pony tail. That being said, we will be down there Feb 24 - March 3 and I too hope that I don't run into the mob of girls.

And for the person afraid of after the under 15 set. These are high schoolers age 14-18! Still underage! Well most of them some are 18 for ya!

They're legal if you stack one on top of another.
