Does anyone watch their trip to WDW or watch the videos that WDW send you to get that magical feeling back? DH and I do this all the time...we're sad, I know.

I think in the last 3 months before my trip I must have watched the latest planning video more than 10 times...

and back from the Magic it is a little depressing, but I watched the new Magic Kingdom DVD, as well as several Travl Channel specials.

After living in disney for over 7 months, i go back weekly to look at over 1000 of my pictures..and listen to disney parade music, or just disney music in general...it feels good...but then i get depressed..lol..and i call all my friends from disney and we talk about the same stories over and over again..lol

Not only do I do all of the above, but in order to keep my WDW knowledge up to date, I usually help 3-5 rookie families a year plan their trip. This year, I plan on "charging" my oldest friend, who I helped last year. I'm going to give him $ to ship me back four candy apples from the Main Street Bakery.

Not only do we watch it regularly but we send for a new one each year too. we also have one for Universal but that a couple of years old now and earlier this year in the UK they released a Sea World/ Busch gardens DVD that has convinced us to look in again after a five year gap .

I think a large number of the folks on these forums have thousands of photos, hours of home video and Travel Channel video (or in my case downloaded video files) and an extensive collection of travel planning tapes from over the years. :lol:

I've told my family too many times while watching the WDW planning DVD that this is my favorite DVD. They just roll their eyes and say "We know, Dad."

Believe me, if anyone watches the planning video like an hourly ritual, it's me. Last July, we brought the DVD player down in the car. Naturally, I brought the planning video and turned it on just as we were entering WDW...:lol:

I watch my old planning videos just to point and laugh at the hints of new rides that were going in...

I do! Infact it's so yucky outside right now (35 degrees) that I think I'm going to pop in a good old Disney movie. Maybe my first trip when I was 5 in 1994. Ok I'm sold. I love looking what has changed. *goes and finds vhs*

I actually just watched my home videos the other day. I took them 2.5 months ago and still watch them when I have the time. I especially love watching my MK one because I have an excellent video that I took of CoP. I never get sick of the planning videos or my home videos. I'm always looking at my pictures too, they haven't left the side of my chair since I've been back actually. :sohappy:

It's funny that this was posted today since my Mom and I just watched our old home videos from WDW last night. We have videos of us from '88, '96, and '97 as well as videos from my trip with my boyfriend last year. It's weird seeing me at different ages in the same spots in WDW. It definetly made me crave my next trip in 43 days!

Funny! :lol: I turned on my pc and logged on and I am watching recorded episodes of the Travel Channel WDW specials. . . right now I am watching the Grand Floridian one! ha ha ha ha

I also have many copies of the planning video as well as check out my pics form past trips all the time. People at work think I am funny b/c of my love of WDW. . .some made fun but I don't care. The funny hting is, that they are now asking me to help them plan their trips! :lol: :king:

I normally flip through my photo albums and watch my WDW home videos about once every three months. I can't wait until summer so I can go again.
