Welp, its been all of six weeks and I'm getting that " I need to plan a trip to Disney!" feeling again! And I've already been this year! I wasn't planning on going again in 2013! Oi!! What do I do!!!! I starting thinking of planning one for next year but with all the personal stuff going on, I have no idea where and what we will be doing next year. Friends are leaving Sunday for their trip and that isn't helping things! :)

So...how do you get over this feeling???

When you figure it out let me know. In my head I am planning all sorts of vacations. WDW only, DCL only, a land / sea combo, and possibly DLR. I need to hammer down and decide because I am happiest when planning a real vacation not just a possible one LOL.

Exactly! That is exactly my feeling! It doesn't quite scratch the itch when you are planning possible ones, but there is something amazing that happens when you plan a real one! So far, in my head, i'm planning: if IVF works we will go in the fall for announcements b/c I want character/belly pictures but that will only be for a day or so like in Feb - if IVF works, first birthday but that would be Jan 2015 so when do I go in 2014 - Okay lets got to DL in 2014 bc we will take new little baby out to see their uncle in CA - but wait, what if we are still doing IVF bc this round in April doesn't work, then I want a big vaca next year in 2014. See, all pretend what if scenarios. :)

I go plan a vacation that may usually never happen.....I come to this site and live through everyone. Other than that I don't get over it and I end up going ahead and planning one. It is soo incredibly hard. Especially when friends and family are all going and you are not. Or you don't have anything planned. If it is not in the cards for a bit we usually try to sneak a few day trips or weekend trips elsewhere. Of course it is not Disney and its not the same but getting out for a bit and doing something takes the mind off of it, at least for the moment.

I know! We are planning a "possible" trip for December & it's driving me insane! I want to make concrete plans! Hopefully, we'll figure it out soon! We have 2 shorter trips planned this year to other places so, money is a big concern. So, I guess we'll just wait & see.o_O

Isn't waiting and seeing the worst!! I am around kids all day as a nanny and have the patience of a saint. But when it comes waiting for Disney or waiting to plan Disney, I become this person with NO patience at all! :)

For a while, Disney had plans to develop National Harbour in MD and make it DVC which I happen to be able to see from my apartment in Alexandria, VA. And I was SO excited bc when I lived on HHI, when I needed a fix, I would just go to the gift shop at the HHI DVC. But they sold it. And now no DVC here. :( I'm still not quite over that one. :)

We just got back from WDW in October 2012, and yes i'm ready to go back. Looks like 2015 will be the year, I have other places to travel to before then. I will try to travel west to Phoenix to visit my sister, and she's only 5 hours to Disney Land. You never know, a trip to DL may be upcoming? I try to make a trip every 2 years or so to WDW. However I'm a happy camper when I do book my trip! Can't wait to ride the new Snow White rollercoaster.

OH I know, I work in DC, not to far from the proposed site was going to be, and I was thinking man I could go for a Disney fix on my lunch break how cool would that be. And sadly that didn't happen. Now I just look out and sigh.....
