But I will anyway.

I have cases upon cases of 5x7 inch card stock that I use for my business. So I thought I'd put some of it to good use and I made up cute little itinerary cards to bring to Disney with me. So now I want to share my masterpiece that I've been working on for 6 months - my Disney itinerary for September LOL.

Feel free to give any suggestions! (And just so you know, I don't plan to be rigid with the schedule, it will just be used as a guideline! The fun in Disney is being spontaneous and flexible!)

That's funny. I do the same thing sort of. I plan out our whole week to the minute. I never use it once I do it, but it's therapuetic for me anyway!

I agree, it is theraputic. I too plan like this for every trip. In fact friends and family ask me to make up itineries for them when they go. The sad part it takes me no time at all to plan it. I add the pictures, also a week before the trip I give them an updated version with the weather and any time changes for the parks.

Looks nice! Why (if I may ask) a child's annual pass, and 2 adult 10 day base tickets? Is your child going without you during the year? Don't forget that the Food & Wine festival starts Sept. 30 at Epcot! And always "plan on being spontaneous"

I do the same thing when I have a Disney trip planned out. I'll start with an itinerary page showing all days, where to dine, what park to visit, and when to have a rest day. I start planning for a big WDW trip about 2 years out. It's all part of "the Disney magic". Have a great trip!!!

I think it's great. I have a spreadsheet I use to keep track of parks hours, parades, dining ressie's, etc., but alas, mine doesn't have any of those great photo's like your's does.

Well, I ordered an Annual Pass for myself last week, I needed to have it before the trip so I can get the dining experience card. Then my son's Annual Pass I'm going to buy at Shades of Green to save on tax. In November my husband is not going to Disney - me and the kids are going with my Grandma, Aunt, and Cousin. So my husband only needed the 10 day ticket.

What about nap times for mommy and kids? I am tired just looking at all of the fun.

Well, we tried doing the mid-day nap thing on our trip last year and it didn't work out for us. It was a ton of work lugging the kids and the bags and strollers and such back to the hotel in the afternoon, and then by the time we got to the hotel the kids didn't sleep! Then we had to lug it all back to the parks. So in February we just did half days at the parks at a slow pace and the kids napped in the strollers. That worked out much better, so that's what we're doing this time!

It looks like a lot of stuff packed in there, but I planned the schedule so that we have ridiculous amounts of time to do each thing. Like I think I have 4-5 hours alloted just for Tomorrowland (which usually takes us 2 hours). So we'll be going at a SLOOOWWW and relaxing pace, stopping to smell the flowers along the way LOL.

Buy a single child's AP and get the passholder resort discounts, it's cheaper than the adult AP. That's my guess at least.

Well, it took me about 7 seperate excel spreadsheets to get it all organized before I could put it on the cards LOL.

What, no showers all week?

Actually I think its a good idea. I have spreadsheets made with just a little less detail, I ID park, confirmation numbers where applicable. It really helps as a reference. Other family members (who don't contribute to the planning) do always just take a look at the schedule instead of asking, "What do we do now?"

Even if you know your way around the parks, that kind of planning does make everything easier.

Very nice job! How does your husband feel about it? I'm driving mine crazy with all the planning...he'd just "wing it" if it were up to him! I have to keep reminding him about how much smoother our visit is going to go if we plan each day!! We are going to be there Sept 21-28...I'll watch for you in the parks, ha! ha!

Nice! I like them! The only planning I do is a rough schedule of what parks we want to start at on what days (and I generally scribble those in the front of my Birnbaum's guide) along with any breakfast, lunch or dinner reservations, but those are really cool! a little geeky but cool!
