I have always heard that the restaurants around Mexico, and France that have tables out on the lagoon are the best. I usually just look for somewhere that has a pretty open field of view, no trees in the way and as close to the lagoon as possible. Now depending on what time you are down there you might have to stake out your seats a couple hours in advance.

Pretty much anywhere is really good. I always look to the flag ontop of the American Adventure and see which way the wind is blowing... and then I stand upwind so I don't get the smoke or fallout from the fireworks. I also try to stay away from having those two little islands directly infront of me. Hope that helps.

We watched from the area between the Cantina de San Angel (mexico) and Norway, actually, just in front of the boat at Norway...great unobstructed view of the show!!! Video taped it here.......perfect.

We love it at Rose and Crown especially if we have dinner around 7pm, we ask to be seated near the water if possible. Our usual place is by the beer wagon by the Canada pavillion across from the totem poles.:sohappy:

For those that have been...Where is the prime location for the best viewing?

My very favorite viewing spot is in Italy but ONLY if I get there early and get an unobstructed view of the lagoon. All locations around the WS lagoon are good for viewing if you arrive early enough.
