Illuminations or Wishes? your favorite

IllumiNations with the "Let There Be Peace on Earth" ending is the best....PERIOD! (Yes, just opinion).

Holiday Wishes is great too...but nothing, up to date, can top the Holiday version of IllumiNations.

So...here is my list...

I never miss Wishes. It usually runs either at park closing or about an hour before. Winter hours are not as late as summer hours. Just check out the times guide or the calendar on the main disney site.

IllumiNations is the best fireworks show I've ever seen.

I've seen Wishes many times. From Ohana, California Grill, Narcoossee's, and inside the park. The fireworks are pretty cool, and the castle is pretty at night. However, I find the music INCREDIBLY corny. With Wishes supposedly being the "biggest, baddest, big-daddy fireworks show ever," I was incredibly dissapointed.

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, on the other hand, has been my family's favorite show ever since the Millenium Celebration. The fire, lasers, fountains, and fireworks are go perfectly with the music. It still makes me cry (and we see it about 3 times per vacation).

Although you've been pursuaded to see Wishes INSTEAD of IllumiNations, I strongly suggest you find the time to see it. It's typically 9:00 every night (except for, say, New Year's Eve).

Holiday Wishes, Illuminations (The music just can't be beat) and Wishes in that order... There all are fantastic, I love them all.

Missing Wishes would never be an option, it's one of the greatest things to see in all of Disney.Illuminations is great but it's got nothing on Wishes!! If you're going in December, depending when you go MK has different hours so It could be showing at 10 or 11 some days or 8 or 9 other days.Remember MVMCP has the special Holiday Wishes for 12 days in December!!:xmas: :xmas: :xmas:

Both shows are truly great, but I absolutly love the music in Illuminations. The last segment of Illuminations is very moving. I'd pick Illuminations.

I'd say Illuminations is better than Wishes when it includes the holiday/Let There Be Peace on Earth tag... but when it's a normal show, Holiday Wishes, Happy HalloWishes, and Wishes beat it out... and so does Remember... Dreams Come True! :king:
